as someone who thinks pacquiao is hugely overated : i like pac v rios

    people will say its a cherry pick and i think his career is full of cherry picks and weight drain fests

    but this fight is good for him.. EVEN IF he hadent lost his last fight

    1.weight to me isent a factor because if anything rios will outweight pac on fight night

    2. pac and rios in the same ring.. you are almost gaurenteed fight of the year

    3. its a good style matchup to see how much manny has left.. we seen him perform pretty darn well up until the knockout against marquez (though it was a little reckless obviously). we now get to see him in with someone who shares a style of an opponent pacquiao hasent faced since he looked prime (margarito and hatton)



    people can **** on this fight all they want but its a good fight and feel its one of the best choices out there.. THE ONLY THING IM NOT HAPPY ABOUT

    mike alvarado wins against rios gets vindication and rios is the one who gets rewarded the huge pay cheque and exposure of a pacquiao fight, though pac is coming off a loss so it wouldent be unherd of to fight another opponent suffering the same and its not pacquiaos fault he is a bit of a superstar in the sport i kind of wish alvarados efforts would be rewarded (though im sure he still has years for that)

    PAC will look like superman if he fight rios. To much speed and power.

    Next best fight after Alverado. This fight ends in a KO. Hoping Manny shuts that loudmouth up.

    i forgot to add this is a huge test for rios aswell.. we know how he likes to fight and both fighters styles match up well : who can brawl the hardest.. whos chin can last longer..

    the alvarado fight really showed me what rios chin is capable of.. MY ****ING GOD...
    its wierd how people after fighting pacquiao have said.. its not so much his power.. but the speed that hurts you..

    Is there a rehydration clause involved? Rios comes in at over 160. He's big enough to of fought Hagler in the 1980s for his Middleweight Championship.

    This will happen anyway.

    In any case, he's lost 2 of his last 3 fights and hasn't looked good in a while, he and "*******s" need this.

    Not that I know of, the fight is at 147 which means Rios is likely to come in heavier than the 161 he fought Alvarado with

    Pac is not overrated at all, but he's getting older and I'm not sure he wasn't on PEDs.

    Awesome fight.

    Pac taking on a huge hitter to dispel theories about his punch resistance. After Kessler/Froch probably the only big name battle we will see the whole of this year.

    I hope Pac wins then decides to fight Alvarez or Martinez who i have no doubt he could beat. It would show like this fight does, Pac doesn't shy away from challenges.
