Well, i would say it's mainly an esb's forum thing.
Other boxing forums are way quieter and respectful regarding every boxer.
But yes, many peoples on here should be better watching only WWE.

    NFL is not soccer.

Most sports business that are successful attract fans that do not necessarily look for the high level technical aspect of it.
Not getting hit is only HALF of the equation.

Disagree. Mayweather is successful PARTLY because he knows how to market himself that has NOTHING to do with the technical aspect of boxing. He understood from Arum and DLH early on that to be successful that way you need something else - personality, good looks, controversy, etc whatever. Thus, he created the "Money" personality.

How many people have you met that says "I wanna watch that guy get...." beat up, KO, lose, etc?
It works. And all the credit goes to PBF. He is smart in the sense of self promotion.

And let us be honest here. Booing in his fight is not unusual. Partly because he is winning in his technical, low activity way when people are wishing he loses. Again, credit to him - winning without compromise.

But the booing and criticism is legit since it is the environment that Money has created.
