wpuld u bet on povetkin/wlad going over 8.5 rds or under???

Could go short or long, depends on how much punishment Povetkin is prepared to take. I'm thinking if Chambers & Huck could land on Sasha so easily then Wlad should have no problem KOing him early. Klitschko will fight safe as usual, but he hits quite a bit harder than Chambers or Huck. If I had to I'd bet the under 8.5.

Under... povetkin has one choice, push forward and pressure. He will step right into a 1-2 and get his neck broken by Wlad.

 

Wlad will fight his style, but my guess is Povetkin will come out much more aggressive than most other opponents, which will result in Povetkin getting KO'd earlier than most opponents...could be wrong, but that's what I'm going with.

 

Clear over IMAO. Wlad is a lot more tentative with people that can actually punch and Povetkin has a bit of a punch. Povetkin also has pretty good chin and will probably get into a decent shape for the fight. Povetkin is a step up compared to the recent Wlad opposition

 

I agree with the over, but not your assessment of Povetkin. If anything, he is an accumulation puncher, and he simply won't land consistently enough to threaten Wlad. Also, Huck had Povetkin in trouble, and Chagaev also buzzed him and might have put him away if he was in better shape.

Povetkin has to get in the best shape of his life, and be sharper than he ever has if he's going to hang in there. Wlad is a big change in class from shot Rahman, caveman Huck, and a past-it Chagaev.

It's a tough one. Wlad will win, no doubt, but the question is how much is he willing to push for the KO, if at all? I wouldn't mind making some money off this fight. I'm going with the Under.

All the guys to make it over 8.5 include Peter twice, Haye, Wach, Chambers, Chagaev... I dunno. Povetkin is better than a lot of those guys even if my a very narrow margin.
