Hopefully we'll find out! I actually think it's a 50/50 fight but I'll be cheering on Bute for the above mentioned reasons. Fingers crossed, Pascals questionable workrate and stamina come into play down the stretch.

The Scene are reporting the Pascal v Shumenov is in the works for May 25th. Shumenov is now promoted by 50cent.

Really dont know why people were so excited about this fight, Bute got exposed by Froch and Pascal is a top class fighter, I would fancy him to hammer Bute just like Froch did.

If Pascal couldn't press the action against old Hopkins, I can't see him doing it against Bute either. I think it'll be be a bit of a chess match tbh.

After 300 amateur fights and 10 years of pro fighting this is the first time I withdraw before a fight.

It is very tough, my sufferance is unimaginable. Starting with last week I had unbearable pain that prevents me from boxing. It's a relapse of a mini-fracture that I had from the fight with Glen Johnson, November 2011. Back then I felt the same pain, said Bute.

Yeah, that's a quality opponent at such short notice. Fair play to him for taking the fight. It doesn't excite me in the same way but it's a damn solid fight.

    Nathan Cleverly should take note.
