It'll be a very close fight and I'm looking forward to it... I'll go for Thaxton by a knockdown, 114-113. :bbb
Aye, I'll be having my usually Friday tea-time pint and then off home with some tinnies and a take away to watch the fight. Ah, the little pleasures in life....
Ditto for me - half an hour in the pool, then eight cans of Carling and possibly a chinese or meat feast pizza. Any advance on that? artytime
You'll change your opinion of Romanov tonight , he's the real deal . I was just watching Colin Dunne v Billy Schwer and if we get half as good a fight tonight we'll be in for a real treat , and I really think we could . I like Thaxton a lot and would love if he was able to claim a European title , at the same time I'm also a big fan of Romanov and believe he deserves to be able to push on towards a world title . So no matter what I'll be a bit happy and sad not matter who wins........a draw really would have me messed up . I'm sticking to my Romanov late stoppage prediction though .
Yuo really think he's educated enough to change his opinion. I'll be suprised if he even understands what he's watching. If Romanov is anywhere near his best he's good enough to trick Thaxton enough to force a stoppage. Thaxton may find himself stopped under fire like he was against Emanual Augustus and Eamon Magee. Romanov has that kind of pop and variety. I don't think Romanov is good enought to be a world champion but he's a level above Thaxton.
I don't know I guess we'll see , if he isn't then hard luck to the chap....... Romanov isn't good enough to beat Juan Diaz , Nate Campbell or Jesus Chavez but I think he's capable of beating the likes of Jose Alfaro(WBA 'regular' :roll , Joel Casamayor(the man regarded by many as the real champ) and the exciting Aussie Michael Katsidis who of course recently was relinquished of his WBO interim title . With that said if Campbell does this against Romanov I've no doubt Romanov will chin him :http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zq9Xs8BeRuQ Romanov will get a crack at Alfaro eventually provided he wins here . The WBA rankings are as follows: 1.Paulus Moses(Phillip Fondu fighter) 2.Juan Diaz 3.Yuri Romanov(Phillip Fondu fighter) Diaz won't bother with Alfaro so Romanov will either get a crack at Moses or wait for the winner of the Alfaro v Moses fight which he should get the winner from . Although I believe Alfaro has a voluntary first .
