When are we going to stop putting heavyweights on our p4p list?! They don't count in these discussions. There's no way you can make me believe that if you melt Wlad/Vit down to 5'8" he would rule lw,jrww,ww,jrmw, or mw. He's got two punches, jab straight right, and that's it. It works in the hw division because theres no competition and nobody there has skills to adjust to his immense size and weight in combination with actually having good technical skills, but if he was, lets say martinez's size and weight he'd get dominated.

The fact that Wach literally cant box, at least not at anything like a decent level, kind of negates this argument.

However Wlad is certainly top 10 p4p

    That's an extremely ignorant statement.

Explain how. He does the same things in every fight. He throws a possible occasional left hook. He rarely ever throws to the body, and ask his opponents what knocked them out. They'll all say it was a right hand. Same two punches is all he uses. Its not an ignorant statement.

Your are right Farmy. Wilder would ko Wlad in one round.

He is a p4p boxer but he isn't above someone like Rigo who did basically the same to a much better boxer in Donaire who was also bigger but a p4p boxer himself and not......Wach

Yes, it still is an extremely ignorant statement. You can't say "all he has is two punches and that's it" about any boxer, let alone an Olympic gold medalist and the dominant king of the heavyweights of the current decade. Just shows how little you understand about the sweet science.

Boxers aren't just made of punches. There's also speed, power, reflexes, footwork, technical ability, etc. I think it was Bruce Lee who once said "I don't fear the man who trained 1000 punches, I fear the man who trained one punch 1000 times". And by the way, Wlad throws straight rights, left hooks, right hooks, left and right uppercuts and hooks to the body. He's floored more people with his left hook alone than with his right hand.

I just find it hilarious when someone says "you dont understand the sweet science." Look here. I'm not saying he doesnt have handspeed, athleticism, or good footwork. I never said that. I'm talking about his offense. You couldnt point out a recent fight where he threw an effective combination consisting of anything you just described. None of these uppercuts or hooks to the body. If Stewart was still alive he'd tell you he didnt train Wlad to throw body punches very much, he doesnt train any of his fighters to in all honesty, he's not that type of trainer. So stop with all of that. Like i said, he throws an occoasional left hook, but his bread and butter is a jab and straight right, same as Vitali, and to some extent same as Lewis was. P4P (for your extinsive sweet science knowledge) by dfeinition means you either are treking through weight classes literaly displaying your abilities to fight at different weights and take away the imagination of a person wondering what would happen if you were here or there, or you have a particular skillset that would translate to still being dominatnt if you were bigger or smaller. Let's name some current fighers that fit the frame. Mayweather. Pacquiao. Ward. Rigondiox. Now, if these fighters were all 6'6" 240 pounds they would all dismantle Wlad so quick and easy it would be a mismatch. Now, lets make Wlad 5'8" 140 pounds. There is no way you could convince anyone "who knows the sweet science" that he with the same exact style and skillset would be dominant. He is currently dominant because he is athletically gifted at 6'6" with power and footwork and technical skill in a horribly weak division.

So he beat an enlarged punching bag for 12 rounds and he's P4P?

Who did Wach ever beat? :rofl
