Prime Roy Jones Jr vs Andre Ward

Prime Roy is all wrong for Ward stylistically. Too much speed and athleticism for Andre. Jones Jr wins a decision in a competitive fight. Somewhat similar to the first Hopkins/Jones fight.

 

Prime Roy in the end is wrong for every smw or mw ever.

I'm a huge Ward fan, but nobody in history beats a prime Roy at SMW. I would have Ward beating any other SMW in history, though.

I'm glad to see that there are informed people in this thread. I expected people to downgrade jones jr. based on this imposter fighting now that keeps fighting a getting KO'd in every other fight. Bravo.
Too bad jones didn't retire right after Ruiz.

 

How do you even prepare for a 168 version of Roy? Big punchers like Nigel Benn and Gerald McClellan could go out and swing big and hopefully land something.. The way Ward fights, I just see no way for him to win.
