I give him a 1. He has no inside skills at all. All he knows how to do on the inside is hold. Fury can fight on the inside that is why it would be interesting if Fury is able to get inside on WLad.
I wouldn't know what his inside game is like, cause I don't remember ever seeing it. On the one hand, I can't imagine it would be all that good, because he wouldn't work on it as it isn't part of his strategy. On the other hand, he is pretty skilled, and it wouldn't surprise me if he could have had a good inside game if he ever did work on it. He has three punches that are considered amongst the best ever in the division; his jab, left hook and his straight right. If he worked on his inside game, he might not have developed those other punches as much. It probably wouldn't have been worth doing.
0/10. Wlad's idea of defence is to either (illegally) plant his fist in his opponents face and try to keep it there, run backwards, or clinch. Without his physical advantages that exist in no other division, he's quite limited.
That's not hating but he hasn't got any inside fighting ability at all probably the worst out of all champs right now. 4/10 and only because he ties up when he's on the inside instead of taking punches like Khan and I'm just being nice and count that as "defence"
His inside ability for being an MMA fighter is probably like 7/10. Dude knows how to clinch you, and you will not get off any punches. I don't understand why he never throws an uppercut? Just an uppercut... You jab somebody round after round, land that big right hand, they get tired of getting beat to death and come after you in close, and UPPERCUT!... Then you can clinch again, move off to the side, back, whatever your heart desires. Honestly if he hit somebody with an uppercut they'd be out cold because nobody but nobody would expect to get hit with it from Wlad.
