What is there to say? You're trying to speak on everyone's behalf.

I want to see it because it's a great clash of styles.

Look, if Floyd's too small to fight at 154, then he shouldn't fight there, it's as simple as that.

As long as they both weigh the same at the weigh in, there shouldn't be a problem.

He knows the rules, and he knows that any 154 fighter is realistically going to rehydrate by at least 10 pounds.

So if he feels at a disadvantage, he shouldn't be fighting there.

Canelo is much bigger than floyd. Floyd started his career at sub 130 lbs, at canelos age he was fighting at around 130lbs i believe. thats 24lbs less than canelo is. mayweather has moved up to 147, but his walking around weight in between fights is still only 145lbs and not many fighters can say that, he is naturally a small welterweight and thats at his peak sort of age 30/s.

Canelo is a big guy and with age he is likely to get a lot bigger. he fights at 154 but he walks around (apparently according to various sources) at about 180lbs! at fight night in 154 he is normally just within the 10% limit and on fight night he is (apparently according to various sources) 165 lbs.

i think there is also some disinformation here canelo is officially 175cm (5ft 9)
    May weather is 173 cm (5ft 8 )

so to the poster commenting canelo is smaller is wrong, he is bigger by an inch. not much difference the main difference is weight. people forget Floyd is a small guy who could easily fight in the class below he is in now if he really wanted too.

why should floyd move up to fight all these bigger guys hes already moved up considerably, hes clearly at his limit. if he beats canelo it will be, oh alvarez never fought any realy quality before ffloyd! floyd should fight andre ward if he wants to be no.1 now etc etc lol.

this **** makes me laugh..you got some of the biggest names in boxing including people like JMM who have shared the ring with Mayweather saying he is in a class of his own at the moment, they all say it ginger bollocks can call floyd out all he wants soon as he gets in the ring he loses

I AGREE floyd doesnt take enough risks that cannot be denied but being like that also makes him more money because people cling on to so many fighters hoping he loses and they watch him, discuss him ect he will always be doing what he wants and thats making money while he is relevant and the 0 is a big factor in that

the canelo fight does need to be made and I believe it will in may 2014 and mayweather will win (in my opinion of course)

im not *****sexual btw just an observation

size would have nothing to do with the outcome of this fight if it were to be made in September.

unless canelo landed something signifigant early Floyd would dominate.

canelo is 5'7". he was listed at 5'7.5" on showtime the night of the fight as well as on boxrec.

youre a newbie here if you think canelo is 5'9" as there have been many threads here regarding canelos height and even the biggest canelo nuthugger that's read the threads will tell you that hes not 5'9"

Mayweather is a two time champ at 154. Canelo is currently #1 at 154. If Mayweather is big enough to win 2 belts at 154 it shouldn't be out of the question for him to face another 154 titlist.

I'm sick of all the excuses.

He knows the risks, and he knows most guys will have a weight advantage.

But he claims to be the greatest ever, and he's fought there before.

If he can fight a past his best Oscar at 165 in 2007, then he fight Canelo.

    That's my opinion.

    Stop making excuses for Floyd.

It's funny how folks are always searching for that fighter that could maybe give floyd his first loss. I truly believe most people pay for his fights just to see him loose. Pac, Martinez, Canleo. Next they'll be calling for him to fight Andre Ward or Bernard Hopkins...lol Should he fight and beat Canelo.

You're claiming that Canelo's 3 x the size, and it's obvious that if Canelo won, you'd be on here the next day complaining. You wouldn't give Canelo credit.

canelo aint winning, but the only reason people want the fight is because he is big
