I'm going to say this fight will do better PPV numbers than Marquez-Bradley or Mayweather-TBA.

This is going to one hell of a fight.

and how the **** is cotto ranked number two at the wbc?

ahead of Molina, vanes and rabchenko?

the wbc is like the wwf.

It'll be on the same card, which will pave the way for Mayweather vs Alvarez May 2014 Cinco De Mayo.

Providing Mayweather and Canelo both win.

How will Showtime cover all three fighter's purses?

Plus, this fight will be more intriguing and more fan friendly than whoever Mayweather fights.

    Cotto-Alvarez is a barnburner.

Cotto is #3 PPV fighter and Alvarez has a good fan base. They can stand on their own.

Roach is the wrong trainer for Cotto if he wants to beat Canelo. He needs Pedro

Well if there moving foward it will have to be on the undercard. I dont think Oscar is gonna kick Mayweather out of the MGM

Didn't Canelo already say he won't be playing second fiddle to Mayweather.

Plus, this fight is more intriguing than anyone that Mayweather can fight ATM.

For me personally, I'd buy this fight over Marquez-Bradley or whomever Mayweather is fighting.

I'm ok with this fight. if Canelo detroys cotto (likely) itll build more hype for the Floyd fight. Floyd will have his back pressed against the wall at that point too.

Canelo can say that all he wants but Showtime will have to brtoadcast both fights. No way Mayweather fights at Thomas and Mack and Canelo at MGM, showtime and Oscar anit that stuip. he will fight on undercard or move the date. if they dont fight each other

blaming his losses on his trainer

Winning three rounds against Mayweather is an accomplishment.

Trout did not completely outclass Cotto either. It was a very competitive fight.

Bradley vs Marquez is the better fight on paper and the fight I will be watching incase it does compete against Cotto/Canelo. Unfortunately, if TR decides to go up against Canelo/GBP, Arum will be ****ed. Canelo has the biggest fan base among Mexicans and we all know the fan base Cotto has too. If this fight happens Mayweather, Marquez and Top Rank better move out of the way.

And I also doubt Cotto and Canelo would decide to be on the "undercard" of a Showtime event. No way in hell would they agree even though they won't fight in the same place.

It will be an impressive win! Afterall, Guerrero beat the **** out of Berto who was coming off a beating and Guerrero got a shot at Floyd. Didn't you say Floyd fights guys coming off impressive wins. So what difference does it make?
