when bronor beats mallignagi broner should drop down to 140 to fight khan later this year if khan beats the mayweather clone then that would set up the huge showdown wembley stadium as a 007 mission of mayday in may 2014 :deal

It's not his chin that's the problem

It's his awful defence which leaves him exposed to any big shot

Why doesn't he deserve a Mayweather fight? The guy has proven himself. was Robert Guerrero really any more deserving of a Mayweather fight then Khan is now?

styles make fights and this would be very entertaining. even the people who hate on Khan would watch it just to see what would happen.

i see Khan either fighting Alexander, Brook, Garcia, Peterson or Mayweather

and for those saying Khan doesn't fight anybody worth anything.. that's false... most criticisms made on Khan are valid but he's fought some really good fighters and beaten some really good fighters as well. maidana, paulie and judah are all relevant fighters. peterson and garcia are good fighters and so out of his last 8 fights, he's fought 5 champion fighters.. that's much better than most fighters.

If you were in or around Khan's division you'd be so desperate to get that fight. Everyone would fancy their chances of getting in there and scoring a spectacular knockout.

They're gonna try to get him Devon Alexander's strap. Once that belt throw him in there with Floyd

And then if Alexander bounces Khan around the ring as if his legs are made of flubber then Devon himself becomes more marketable and a viable Mayweather opponent.

I hope the added weight would give him much more punching resistance.. :think

How is he running from the 140 division when he's already fought most of the guys there? He's just said that he's hoping to fight the ones he lost to when they too move up to 147. Not to mention that these guys will be the decent fighters at 147. And some of the people that are already there -- Maidana and Paulie the champion -- he's already fought and beaten. Let me guess, he's ducking them, too? And Alexander who's another champ at 147 that he's planning on fighting, is the other decent fighter he'll duck as well?

If Mayweather announces Khan next I'll read your posts with interest - sounds like you would admit that is a massive cherry pick if it happened?

He said he was cleaning up at 140 first. He lost to Peterson, lost to Garcia and he wobbled with every punch by Diaz, Matthysse would KO him also - I don't blame him if Floyd is on his radar but it sounds like he's getting a very very easy ride with fighters much more deserving of a Mayweather shot than him

Floyd has basically said "I want him" and GBP, WBC and Al Haymon are moving those chess pieces around to make that fight happen

I don't disagree with you on him being manufactured as an opponent for Floyd. But that has nothing to do with what I said.

Khan isn't guaranteed to get this 140 tournament winner, and so Schaefer has told him he's better off moving up to 147 and getting him there at a later date. Otherwise he risks waiting for him in December and if, at the very last minute, he can't get him, he'll be stranded without a decent opponent. Instead he's moving up a weight and will be the underdog against a champion, Alexander, who'll most likely knock him out. But that, apparently, is him avoiding decent fighters.
