    K2 offer such terrible contracts for their voluntaries that no decent, self-respecting contender would ever agree to fight under those terms.

    Klitschko fans don't care about the quality of opposition, they don't want to see competition. All they want is to sit in a massive arena with zero atmosphere & watch another boring, riskless mismatch.

    I had meant to edit the title a while ago, but yes, Thompson was a mandatory, which doesn't actually say anything good for Wlad, as Thompson is the best opponent out of Wach, Mormeck & Pienta. So imagine who wlad would have picked if he didn't have to make a voulantry defence :yikes

    And as I said...all four men I named, are journey-man level oppo.

    How and where is this wrong?

    @sweet science what is your opinion on Wladimirs latest opponent? Personally I felt very sorry for him and thought it was sick how Wladimir played with him and prolonged his beating.

    He was going to retire, was out of shape, and old. Knocking out a glassjawed prospect with an unlikely-to-be-repeated shot does not change that.

    There is nothing wrong with Povetkin, or as I said any of those others listed, who has mentioned them? My point is that Wlad has fought awful competition in his last four fights.

    That's not acceptable for the HW champ, he needs to be fighting better opposition.

    Do you disagree?

    An AD HOMNIEM defence is when a person is confronted with an argument (Wlad has faced **** opposition recently) and instead of attacking the argument, they attack the arguer

    for example

    Etc

    I have no idea what the subject matter has anything to do with my 'heroes'

    I made the thread because Wlad is facing unnaceptable opposition, it's not a hard thing to comprehend, there hasn't been a single personal attack from me towards Wlad or his abilities...just the fact that he is chosing to fight awful fighters, for what reason? I don't know.

    Yes a lot of these were AWFUL fights.

    Pianeta,Mormeck and Wach being the worst.

    I think its more to do with the lack of depth in the division and having already beaten everyone else9between he and his brother) that is most at fault though.

    Thompson has skills and is top 10. Mormeck was shite but in terms of keep busy atleast it was a name.

    Wach and Pianeta can't ever be defended as voluntary fights. Both were shocking choices for a defence.

    How old are some of you? Were you crying like little girls when Larry Holmes Champion and defended his title against:

    Lorenzo Zanon
    Leroy Jones
    Scott LeDoux

    all in a row? He also fought Scott Frank and Marvis Frazier :lol::rofl

    If you are an active Champion you are going to have these types of fights. Especially when the other contenders don't want to fight you.
