    "I’ll be meeting this week with Floyd’s adviser (Al Haymon) and we will start having conversations," Schaefer told Kim. "I know that Floyd is the kind of fighter who doesn’t turn down anyone.

    "He’s always fought anyone and everyone and I know that with 'Canelo,' that’s the fight he really wants. So we’ll just have to see if we put it together. But I'll be working on that. That’s my number one priority."

    Interesting.

    He'll be meeting with Haymon and Haymon will be introducing Danny Garcia as the guy who should face Mayweather.

    Garcia is quoted as saying he never agreed to no tournament and that he will fight who Haymon tells him to fight. He was also quoted as saying if it is Peterson or Mathysse he has no problems fighting them and that he is the best and most versatile 140 lber.

    Did you read my post. Garcia has never agreed to it or disagreed to it. Apparently Haymon leaves the door open for bigger and better things.

    Danny says he'll fight who Haymon wants, not Richard Schaffer. Haymon makes the fights, GBP promotes them.

    Thats the way its suppose to work in regards to Managers/Promoters. They don't understand that over there at Top Rank. Arum controls everyone.

    Garcia will fight Pete-Matty winner on September 7.
    Khan will fight Alexander on December 7.
    Mayweather will fight Canelo on September 14.

    Mayweather will fight Khan-Alexander winner next May and winner of the tournament late next year.

    Mayweather is gonna fight Danny Garcia September 14th and then Khan in Manchester next spring/summer.

    By then, Canelo will be looking to go to 160.

    The writing was on the wall when Canelo had his own card in stead of fighting on Floyd's PPV undercard. Canelo wanted the September fight guaranteed and Mayweather didn't want to do it.

    This ship has already sailed, and when Mayweather sails a ship it doesn't return.
