    Scene it

My natural weight is 153, I've never hit the canvas at that weight. 140 is killing me.

Hes no different to every other fighter. You need to understand the mindset of Pro Athletes.

He's talking trash to try and get himself a Mayweaher fight and a $3m payday. Why do people give him stick for it? He should be commended for actually wanting to fight the best fighter in the sport.

140 is killing him but then he fights at a catchweight only 3lbs heavier

It's the fact he said he's never been floored at 153. But he's never boxed at that weight class.

imagine what canelo would do to him at his 'best weight'

he obviously means when he hydrates to that weight and doesn't feel he can rehydrate anymore.

maybe he is talking about sparring

In the past he has mentioned that he felt stronger in sparring before cutting weight during training camp

I honestly believe that for once what he says may ring true. Yes his chin is bad but I think draining himself down to 140lbs definitely makes it worse. Going up will only help him. The problem is 147lbs has so many big punchers.

    It'll hinder him.

At 140 he enjoys a nice size and particularly, a nice reach advantage over most opponents.

At 147 he'll lose that, and most likely get hurt.

We'll it didn't look any better in his last fight at 143. could be an argument made that it looked worse

To be fair, I think it is evident that since his move upto from lightweight his chin/punch resistance has improved. And he is quite big for light welterweight, maybe what he is saying does have some merit.

These mocking Khan threads are really getting ridiculous, some people are really clutching at straws!
