People have their facts wrong about Wlad opponents.

TT was mandatory in both fights.

Wach was WBC#8 and WBA#13 by the time of the fight.(could be wrong by 1-2 positions)

Mormeck was WBA#7.(could be wrong by 1-2 positions)

Pianeta was WBA #12 and WBO#7.

It's still weak competition, but formaly they are worthy.

My only criticism of Wlad is that they could have had the Povetkin purse bid by early february and then the fight would have happened now istead of Pianeta.

Gaye fights an un ranked Audley and John Ruiz was somehow a "mandatory" when he had 3 wins in 5 years and had been retired for 2 years. thankfully Wlad put an end to that bum of the year spectacle
