Frankie Gavin v Denton Vassell Build Up & Prediction Thread

Think Vassell is making a big mistake in not having a tune up fight before the Gavin bout. He'd have to be on his A game to stand a chance with Frankie.

 

Will be a very interesting fight, depends on how sharp Denton comes in and how well Frankie can keep him off. Looking forward to this fight, best British title fight in a while.

 

In what way has he not learnt from the Woodhouse fight?

 

I will be on top form trust me. I am quite a nervous fighter before my ring walk. An it makes me sharper the woodhouse fight was a big wake up call. I had problems at home an kept blaming everything on that, I had to grow up. Stop feeling sorry for myself I have done that. I am now a calmer person also an I am in better shape now than the woodhouse fight I won that on winners mentalilty I lost about a stone in a week also all my own fault. Arnie got stick for that but a lot was down to me leaving it to the last minute. I always train an trained hard don't struggle with fitness but I was really down when was out the gym eating **** an generally not giving a sh#t bout boxing, I'm in a great place now 2 beautiful sons who I wanna make proud x

Two likeable fighters in this one I think Gavin is the more skilled but Vassell the more physically gifted hard to call Gavin in a close UD maybe I can see these two having more than one fight over the years.
