It depends how they promote it and how far Pac goes. If Pac beats Diaz & Hatton, this fight becomes alot more legitimate. People are getting tired of ODLH loosing though so not sure if they'll buy into this again.

Im thinking if Pac beats Hatton, unlikely but possible. This could set up a great storyline for Pac vs PBF, true 1 vs 2. Promoted correctly, this again could break records. By then both stars should be huge in their own right, right now their just big.

I couldn't disagree more this would be borderline WWE. It would be like PBF fighting RJJ at 175. No one in their right mind should want to see this fight. Oscar proves nothing in Koing Pac and Pac proves he can take an ATG ass whooping. Who needs this?:-(

Mexicans will be all over this a fight. They're Craving for a victory over Pac. DLH has better chance they will support this.

Besides, once Mayweather beats DLH again, DLH will have lost 2 straight fights and 4 of his last 6 (really 5, when you watch the Sturm fight). If it's big money you want, skip DLH and fight Mayweather. It will be the same massacre, but at least Mayweather is a bit closer in size with Pacquiao.

ODLH is no longer the big attraction that he was before the PBF fight.

Wouldn't it make more sense if Pacquiao is dead set on doing this to fight Mayweather? I don't think he should fight either of them, but you catch my drift.

Neither makes sense. Oscar makes more sense because although chances of a win are slim to none he is more beatable than PBF. Also Oscar is still a slightly bigger draw, But not as big as he was before his loss. Also the whole Mexican thing comes into play here.

Oscar may by HUGE but he is also slow. PBF is huge and fast.

True, but from Pacquiao's perspective, he is looking for money right? I don't believe at all he that he thinks he can win, otherwise he wouldn't be asking for such an enormous amount of money. (Has anyone ever made 30-40 mil on the purse ALONE?) Will DLH continue to be a bigger draw than Mayweather if he loses to him again? Or will the torch pass to Mayweather who is all over TV AND just KO'd the 140 champion?

If it's about money, and Mayweather beats DLH again, he may make more money fighting Mayweather. Especially if they bill it as #1 vs #2 P4P. That hasn't happened since Whitaker fought Chavez 15 years ago.

A true Mexican fight fan won't get any solace from Oscar beating SFW.:deal

Not bothering with what if's so you can argue in circles with no proof.

And what are you on about with the buttplug BS? I am talking about Pacquiao, not his fans. You guys are not the same person.

Nothing really... just speculations... that's why there's the "what ifs"... ;)

Personally, I wanted this HUGE fight to happen for PAC to reward him on what he has given to boxing... $30M purse in just one fight...

And they need to be a bit realistic. If Pacquiao were a pure boxer, we would be having a different discussion. His style however, entails him getting hit alot. You really think that if JMM could stun him, DLH wouldn't hurt him badly and stop him?

I think PAC can do a PBF on this fight ... Sure PAC knows that DLH can hurt him real bad so PAC needs to potshot, "hit and run" on this fight imitating PBF style... PAC is so fast compared to DLH...
