Why people say Floyd is a cherry picker

    Does anyone wonder why Floyd, no matter how great he is, is seen as a cherry picker at times?

    At this point he's in a no win situation. doesn't fight who they wanted, he's ducking, fights them and makes it look easy, he waited until they go old past prime. They say he's boring so he fights cotto toe to toe, they say he's slipping and lost his legs. Comes back fights Guerrero using his legs, he's back to being boring. No matter what Floyd does they will always come up with a but if you did this Situation, Floyd has learned this and does things his own way.

    And people in general are not very intelligent and go along with the status quo. i.e "Group Think"

    History and real fans who dig a little deeper will know Floyd Mayweather Jr. was the best fighter of his era and it isn't even close.

    There is always going to be detractors, I don't even think half of the so called YouTube Pacquiao fans are actually genuine fans of Pacquiao but rather detractors who are using any means fit to hate on Mayweather.

    No. just giving an example of why Floyd may come off as a cherry picker in some ways since he moved up to the WW division. All his fans come off saying he would have beat this guy or that guy so easily yet Floyd himself has lacked the confidence of being able to do that at times. Floyd always said if it made money it made sense. When he retired, their would have been a lot of money to be made when the WW division was being viewed as the best division going. There was also the most money he ever would have made in one fight, but he didn't seem to confident he would win

    Because he is a cherry picker maybe, not taking anything away from him he is a great boxer but he would have more respect with 1 or 2 losses on his record having fought everyone at there proper weight while they where in their prime.

    So we ignore ACTUAL INTERVIEWS AND COMMENTS FROM FLOYD HIMSELF and just assume he fights the best and never ducks an opponent. Gotcha.
