    :hi: u little sad-wanker ! I knew that you'll come here. :yep

I stay to my theory that Bute's team wants to keep this fight ( Pascal - Bute) for the final !

I was so pumped about Bute before the Froch fight and I thought Bute is the only man at 168 that has a good chance to beat Ward but after the brutal beating that Froch gave him I started to question myself if Bute's not a money making machine, carefully matched by his team !

I respect Bute and I'm happy for him that he succeeded to be a big draw in this sport but we have to see that this is marketing trick.

Anyways Bute injured his left hand. And that hand will remain fragile.. so he'll lose some steam out of his big left. Which means that Pascal might just walk through him.

He was gonna do that to Bute regardless of the injured hand.

Bute is not the same fighter after Froch literally raped him.

Please answer me why Bute didnt fight Pascal the 4-5 times he called him out in the past?

And why the fight was made only when Pascal was up for a Dawson II bout, when Bute was reduced to a non-champion?

He fought Froch because him and his team made a fatal error in thinking Froch was finished at the top level (as Froch said himself to the reason they took the fight).

Isn't it a bit too late to hate Bute?

Marketing trick? You mean, professional boxing is a business where the point is to maximise the income of the fighter in question over the lifespan of his career by carefully matching him against weaker opponents until he is experienced and confident enough to fight for a title, etc., etc.? Who would have thought...!

A marketing trick would involve selling to the fans something you know you don't have. Bute/Interbox never said that. They never said Bute had an iron chin and would become a HOF-er. So whom did they trick and how?

They put Bute in exciting fights, just like any other competent promoter, where Bute was able to showcase his skills and win the support of fans. Then, he rematched Andrade - many people thought he would get beaten again, and waited to fight the best out there available. He tried to fight Ward but Ward didn't want it, Kessler was injured and didn't want to fight in Canada, so he fought Froch. Now, he is preparing to fight Pascal. Is there anyone better than Pascal that he could fight right now?

Not sure what you mean when you said they were/are trying to trick anyone.

So... Bute insisted on tests. Pascal eventually agreed. Pascal decided to work with someone who had supplied illegal PEDs to fighters and got banned as a result. Now, the said ex con accuses Bute of not wanting tests and feigning an injury to avoid the tests.:nut

Under the testing contract Bute and Pascal have, the testing will continue even after their fight. How does the fact that Bute has become injured and cancelled the fight affect the testing regime? Can they not take a urine/blood sample because Bute's hand is damaged?

I hope Bute sues and finishes Heredia's career. People like him are worse for boxing than the most unscrupulous promoters.

Its all about money ! Indeed, his team made a big mistake thinking that Froch is a "rudimentary plodder" with no skills and no speed.

My opinion is that after the beating that Froch gave him ( Bute ) his team rush Bute in to a fight with Pascal for a last big payday but knowing that Pascal has 1 more contractual fight left with GYM and it has to be with Bute ( a big money fight ) , they thought/speculated (Bute's team) that may no be such a hurry to make this fight ! Probably they wanted that Bute to have a little more fights to cash in with Dawson, Hopkins or Cloud and then keep the Pascal fight as the final big number fight !

People forget that Pascal is a big LHW puncher who likes to set ambushes, fights in spurts and his very explosive ! Thats a very, very wrong style for Bute and another K.O loss wouldn't be so good for Bute especially that Pascal is a canadian fighter too !

These are my thoughts and if I'm wrong, I'm wrong.

    Late? Hate?
Bute is not a top level fighter anymore. He is done. And he will lose easy against Pascal (if the fight happens). The truth hurts I know.:good

Given the circumstances, I agree that this is the best time for Bute to fight Pascal.

Believe me that I was so eager and pumped about this fight to see if Bute can still compete at a higher level against a top dangerous opponent / if he can comeback at the top game as Wlad did after his K.O losses against Sanders and Brewster .

But after this situation (this unexpected injury) before the fight with Pascal I just thought that might be some smart business strategy from Bute's team .

What would've happened if Bute would've lost by K.O against Pascal, a canadian fighter too ?! How it would've been Bute's credibility and drawing power in Canada ? I tell u that it would've been very, very low ! Thats why I think that his team made this turn ! I think Bute will have a couple more fights with names like Dawson, Hopkins or Shumeov and then have his biggest final payday fight against Pascal .
