Rocky Marciano would have been cut with the first jab Lewis lands. Having a weak paper skin is the WORST disadvantage against Lewis. Marciano cuts when somebody blows on his face.... he would not survive Lewis.

I will favor the shot tko6 version of Lewis over Peak Marciano.

    Lmfao.
Lucas Maythesse got great power too.let's see him knock out Andre Ward.

    Marciano wasn't a heavyweight in Today's class.

To the genius who said Marciano was 185 cause he was 5'10. Tyson weighed in the 220's in his prime and was the same height.

Different time, different training regiments, different diets, etc. Marciano is at least 200 today, easy. He fought as high as 190 or so. So he would easily be 200-210.

Lewis by KO! Come on, who here really thinks that little Rocky would stand a chance against the skilled size of Lennox?

so using that logic, a prime Mike Tyson would get killed against the giants of today's heavyweight division. YDKSAB

    Yup.

  9. That's not how it works.

Tyson was 220... not 180. He was a very very strong boy.. and to this date there are four super heavys that are considered elite.

    Lewis
    Wlad

    Vitali

    Bowe

that's it. No others. So of course Tyson will destroy god damn David Price... But he isn't destroying Lewis.. He might beat Lewis but no destruction.

Lewis is too big and TOO SKILLED. Lewis is a 245 pound ATG.. The 'giants' you mentioned are 245 pounds of B Level and C Level muscles... those will be knocked out by not only Tyson but Marciano as well.

Lewis is eons above that of Price...Pulev... and all these other **** tards.

marciano trained himself down to his fighting weight. i'm sure he wouldn't do that if he was fighting much bigger men. I'm in the minority that a peak Frazier, Tyson, Marciano would KO a prime Lennox. And I respect your opinion that you disagree.

By that logic Oscar de la Hoya would have been heavier than both.

    Or what about Thomas Hearns?

Or is Qawi a minimumweight that fought as a lhw?

You aren't understanding my point. That poster said Marciano was 185 cause of his height. What does his height have to do with weight?

You keep saying modern this and that. Foreman and Holmes came back and were competitive and there's nothing modern about them. They were 40+ years old,FAT who didn't even have their legs and still took these "modern weight lifting" giants bat and ball.

Marciano is one of the very best heavyweights in history. Okay, yeah yeah, I know 188 pounds and all that, but heavyweight champions then. He was a top talent.

But Lewis is a horrible style match-up for him. It's not just the long range jab, it's not the heavy punches, it's not the uppercuts or the height or weight or stride length. It's having all of that together.

Marciano was a better defensive boxer than most give credit for, but he's still in a situation where he's very likely to be soaking up the majority of the abuse. He's not fool enough to try to bundle in there and bullrush Lewis so his best chance would be to outlast him and look to grind him down to be able to deliver those pounding blows to the body. But I'm doubtful he can sustain the damage necessary to get to that point, on sheer physics alone of giving up that much reach and height.
