Floyd didn't run from Pacquiao. He was just trying to get him to take the same damn drug tests he's now taking against Rios

It didn't come because of the purse split really.

Floyd Mayweather wouldn't fight either SRL or SRR until he was absolutely certain that they were no threat to him. He'd probably just about agree a fight with them now. Having said that SRL is still a bit questionable.

I think that could have been settled if they really tried to negotiate it. Floyd wanted a bigger split in the first negotiations, but after a few weeks of negotiating, he agreed to 50/50. Arum was never intending for Pacquaio to fight Floyd last May and as soon as Floyd mentioned a bigger split, he rushed to go make the Bradley fight.
Arum even admitted that it'll take more than a 50/50 split to make the fight, because of the date of the fight.

You also thought Mayweather was going to fight Martinez.

They both ****ed it up, but I'd say the blame lies more in Floyd's court. It's convenient to try and hold Arum accountable, but the fact remains that while Floyd agreed to 50/50 he later flipped and wanted a higher purse, and when Pac asked for 50/50 Floyd said, "But what if I lose." Pac actually agreed to a 55/45 split for Floyd before the Marquez fight, too, matter of fact.

I don't like Mayweather's chances lasting the distance against Robinson, especially in the situation they'd find themselves in during today's era (only a few fights a year at most, complete focus and a long training camp geared toward planning and preparing for one fighter). I see Robinson either catching Mayweather in between his shots/during an exchange or setting up something huge from distance.

Robinson, to me, is right there with Hearns, Cuevas, and the like as the most fearsome power punchers in welterweight history - and middleweight history for that matter. Just scary amounts of firepower. I'd be much more comfortable putting money on Mayweather lasting 12 with Leonard, even though I'd be quite confident in saying Leonard beats him handily.

Floyd never really had the opportunity to fight Martinez except for when he came back to face Ortiz and Floyd wasn't about to face Sergio or Pac after 14 months of not fighting.

and Pacquiao said before even Floyd asked for a bigger split that he'd take less money to make the fight. So of course if Pacquiao is going to offer to take less money, then Floyd going to ask for it

Paulie speak nothing but the truth...Floyd would whoop both SRL and SRR. Paulie also said if Pac beat Cotto then he'd be the GOAT.
