    Canelo
    Khan
    Alexander
    Garcia

cant think of a 5th fight

lets say he wins these is 48-0..there are atleast 2 more world titles in these fights which would make him a 10 time world champ and a 5 time lineal champ in 4 divisions....realistically where would that rank him?

The only fight that raises his stock is Canelo. So youre essentially asking what his ranking will be if he fights (a huge if) and beats canelo (a lesser, but still a fairly big if)

Possibly 11 in 6 division weight classes if he takes down Martinez in his last fight?

But for your question. I think a top 20-25 position wouldn't be very farfetched

Top 20 if he beats Canelo in spectacular fashion.

I have Floyd at #1, people have huge biases for fighters of the past. Ray Robinson couldn't beat a bum in Henry Brimm in his prime. Ray Leonard had trouble with a one-handed Floyd Mayweather Sr, imagine what Floyd Mayweather Jr with two hands and highly improved style would be for Leonard. It would be a nightmare for him.

I thought he was only an 8 time world champion and beating Canelo would make him a 9 time champ? Or does beating Canelo make him 10 time because Canelo holds both the WBC and WBA Super? Oh yeah, Floyd got stripped of the WBA 154 title.

What would be even more impressive of him beating Canelo, would be that he'd have won The Ring or Lineal title in every weight class he fought in with the exception of 140. Including 4x The Ring or Lineal titles at 147.

    130: Lineal - Genaro Hernandez
135: The Ring and Lineal - Jose Luis Castillo
    140:
147: The Ring and Lineal From Carlos Baldomir + Lineal From Shane Mosley + The Ring (vacant) Beat Guerrero
154: The Ring - Canelo Alvarez

= 8 Ring and Lineal titles.

And I can't see why he can't be the new Lineal champion at 154 if he beats Canelo. The Lineal title at 154 has been empty since Winky Wright left JMW. That would be 9x Ring or Lineal champion through 5 weight classes + 10 titles = 19 titles in 5 weight classes.

New lineage will be established once the # 1 and # 2's have fought Since that was between Trout and Canelo than right now Canelo is ..Its always been the case when the belt is either vacted or the champ retired .If Floyd does beat him for his belt than he can be considered ..

sorry to burst your lil bubble but Mosley wasn't the lineal nor ring champ at the time. He was # 1 though.

Also, beating the likes of guerrero shouldn't establish anything in a division that still had Marquez and Bradley on the rise

After rewatching the RG/Mayweather fight I don't blame Mayweather one bit for not wanting to face Canelo. It would be a disaster for him.

Canelo is a good fight for him, but Pac is still the biggest fight for him.

Mayweathers win over De La Hoya would still be much better than a win over Canelo.
