Canelo will not be the same if he has to get to 147.. This is like Leonard/Lalonde all over again.

Who the hell is Canelo? What has he proved? At least Cotto has fought almost all the big names out there and it's obvious that Mayeather respects him enough to keep him at his own weight. Canelo is trying ti dictate to Floyd, haha good luck with that!

It's not the same though mate.

    Andre weighs in at 168.

    Canelo weighs in at 154.

    Floyd has a belt there.

    He's fought there before.

    He knows the risks etc.

Almost any guy that weighs in at 154, is going to rehydrate and be bigger than Floyd on fight night.

If the 154 guys are too big for him, then fine don't fight there. It's as simple as that.

But he can't pick and chose.

He fought Oscar at 165 and claimed it as a great win.

    Who the hell is Canelo?

He's the 154 champ, the division where Floyd has FOUGHT and won a belt in, and he's the biggest fight out there.

Floyd's in the cash chequing business, so where's the issue?

Pac is still a bigger fight than Canelo. Even with the KO.

Did Mayweather actually state this or is it some article stating thats what he plans to do?

Canelo doesn't hold a belt in Ward's division. Ridiculous comparison!

I don't think the Pac fight will ever happen will it?

We'll have to see how Manny bounces back, but I don't think people want that fight now.

I think Canelo will fight Cotto next, and I think he'll stop him.

I agree, we don't know if the statements are legit, but it wouldn't surprise me if they were.

Canelo as already said that he pulled out of Floyd's card with Guerrero because he went back on his word.

I don't believe Floyd wants to fight him.

Why does Floyd have to go to ginger? Floyd had to go get Oscar, ginger should be chasing the cash cow the same way. Srl made his own terms Oscar did it and now Floyd will play that hand. If Canelo turns down his biggest payday ever than you know his handlers really don't want him fighting Floyd not the other way around
