Hang on a minute some people on here really need a reality check. FMJ is the p4p champion and recognised as the best boxer in the world at this moment in time. Its upto everyone to challenge and chase him at his weight etc and under his preferred conditions, that's the perks of being the best. Just like Floyd had to do for Oscar ala ring, gloves, weight.

No matter who he beats people who love to knock and deny will think up another name. The man will not get credit he deserves until he has been retired for many many years.

Canelo should be going up if anything and facing the likes of golovkin,Martinez, then maybe even up again!

Its unfair for Floyd to fight a Lhw at fightime. Floyd would be at 20-25 lb weight disadvantage. Not fair at all haters!

no one else has issue fighting alvarez, if he puts weight on after that means he is killing himself on the scales.

Anyway we are not surprised by road blocks at this point, its a clear pattern when a potential challenge shows up.

I must have missed when Lucas M became this unstoppable beast. A good fighter sure but this mythical fighter some are building him up to be is just plain embarrassing

I remember when people were calling Canelo a shameless cherrypick by Floyd. I bet they would do the same if this fight got signed.

Also why do you expect Floyd to fight a guy who outweighs him by 20+ lbs on fight night?

No... Just show up to the ring at the weight you campaign at ! Why campaign at 154 and then step in the ring at 175..
This type work ethic was not excepted in boxing back in the day, now its excepted as fair play. But it is excepted as fair play by boxing fan looking for only one out come but lie and say they want to see a fair and competitive fight.

Did Mayweather officially announce that he wants Alvarez at 147?, I can't find a single source(reliable or not) confirming this. It looks like you're taking e-trolls too seriously with this thread.

Why are some boxing fans so stupid or selective in their thinking .. Anyone that has followed boxing over the last 10years or even 5 years ..

At 140 , floyd issued , challenges to Cotto, and Hatton who stated they were not ready to fight floyd. Yet Hatton and Cotto where both title holders.

At 147 challenged Mosely 3 x two those time Mosley stated he needed time with his family. Then came the excuse he needed his tooth pulled :verysad Not saying Mosely was scared but his motive for fighting floyd was money driven only.

His challenge of Margarito didn't happen because he opted out of his contract with Arum who tried to under cut him for the cotto, hatton and oscar fight offering him millions less then what the fight was really worth.

Althou floyd doesnt endorse catch weights, he could put all haters in check having the fight at 150-151 and he will win anyway

Speaking of weight, its time for canelo to put his big boy pants and fight the guys at 160 where he belongs

he can make 154 so I have no problem with him fighting there but we all know he isnt a typical 154lber but people are trying to act like he is the man weighs in the 170's on fight night
