Hatton-PBF doesn't count too coz PAC-Hatton could easily top that... Imagine the population of 2 countries (Philippines and Britain) supporting the fight...

PAC and Hatton are the top 2 boxers who got massive support from their respective country... Regarding PBF, I'm not even sure if he got the support of his city...

I will never watch a fight between DLH and Pacquiao ... thats a side show and it won't sell more than Mayweather v DLH ...

Pacquiao has never fought beyond 130lbs and who knows how his body will carry an additional 17lbs ... DLH cannot go lower than 147 ... so there's no sense of having the fight at a catchweight.

This thread is ridiculous on a serious level ... this isn't boxing we're writing about this is a circus.

Any Pac fan that believes this fight will take place needs some help ... DLH has been as far as 160 and his lowest weight is the highest weight that Pac has ever been.

Its cool to dream but this is far fetched ... Pac will have no speed, no power, and no balance (worse than his balance is now)

He won't be able to hurt DLH and he's never taken a punch from a fighter so big.

Please let this guy fight David Diaz and see where he is from there ... I never heard of a fighter starting off at jr fly and making the jump all the way to welterweight.

Did Pacquiao-Hatton happen yet? No...Mayweather vs Hatton did and it did big numbers. It counts. I could easily point out that Mayweather vs Cotto or Mosley could do more than Pacquiao vs JMM. How are you going to say a PPV doesn't count because a hypothetical unsigned matchup might theoretically do more money? That's a bit ridiculous. You can't use a hypothetical scenario to discount one that actually happened.

I am using hard numbers. You are saying "could" do this or that. When he does, let me know. Until then....And the numbers bear out that people tune in to watch Mayweather. Doesn't matter why they tune in to see him.

Pac was hesitant to discuss his fight w/ David Diaz ... he wasn't sure after the Marquez fight ... he said that there was talks but it wasn't for sure ...

I think that this is very disrespectful to DLH and to Pacquiao ... thats 3 weight classes above super featherweight ... he would have to beat Diaz, Casamayor, Hatton, and then someone like Quintana.

No idea....Hatton has had one PPV and it was against the #1 P4P fighter in the world who had just fought DLH. On top of this, many saw it as an "unfiinished business" fight because Hatton turned down Mayweather at 140. We don't know his true drawing power. There are no consistant numbers.

And outside of talking to you in here since last night, I have barely participated in this thread.

I have no idea too but my guess is, PAC-Hatton will outsell Hatton-PBF basing it on the support each boxer get from their respective countries... Tho that's only one factor...

Pacquiao will sell ... he's going to probably do 350k buys if he meets up w/ Diaz based on his clout ... he's a PPV attraction ...
but he's not going to reach 500 + buys again unless he fights Marquez in a trilogy.

DLH showing interest with Pacquiao was a negotiating tactic also. PBF will try hard to get. Pac is always willing to fight the Big guys. There's no demand for a PBF-DLH rematch. Pac fight is always on demand. I will not be surprised If PBF-DLH won't push through.

We still have a chance to make this happen. Pac-Cheato's not sign yet and still no venue yet. We're just hoping that Floyd could Grow his Cajones real quick!!

This post right here is a good example of the opinion shared by most people who followed boxing on the Pac-DLH matchup when it was made. Pac was given no hope, which is why it didn't sell as much as it should have.

It should also highlight how extraordinary Pac's historic feats have been when they were really unimaginable back then. Sad that Pac doesn't get the respect he deserves by everyone for what he's done. Sadder that's it's mostly due to the the smear campaign launched by the crackhead Mayweather's.
