Whos the best opponent khan has faced?

Probably Zab Judah.

'Cause Zab's still been competitive in his latest run at 140 and has wins over Mabuza, Matthysse, Paris. The latter two were unbeaten.

And a very solid performance against Garcia in his last outing.

 

If best means best boxer then Kotelnik, his virtual shutout against Alexander shows that

 

off topic but his best win is Maidana and he went life and death with him.

 

Kotelnik, he was such an underrated fighter

 

I would probably go for Peterson as a complete fighter.

 

Best opponents: Garcia and Peterson.

Devon Alexander showed that Maidana has no answer for a slick boxer and Barrera was way past his best and unjustly treated with the cut.

Best win: Kotelnik (Khan won every round) and Judah

 

I guess its how its viewed.

Kotelnik, Judah, Garcia were all world champs when Khan fought them, I think Maidana was an interim champ.
I thought Khan beat Peterson in a tough fight.
Barrera was a great fighter but past his best and in the wrong division when Khan beat him in my opinion.

Looking at where they were in their careers when they fought, I think its between Garcia and Kotelnik. Garcia is really rated for his win over Khan, but other than that it is faded Morales and faded Judah who Khan beat more clearly.
For me (personally) I think Kotelnik was the best he fought at the time. I seemed to think Kotelnik deserved a draw against Witter before Witter won a world title, the draw with Mbaye when world champ (cant say for sure but think I had Kotelnik ahead, but cant remember for sure), the win over Abdullaev, beat undefeated world champ Rees, beat undefeated Maidana before Khan fought him, and after losing to Khan many felt he looked unfortunate against undefeated unified world champ D Alexander who was supposed to be K Brooks big test. Khan seemed to win a clear decision against Kotelnik.

Yet he managed to box 12 rounds at a very good pace and surive a body shot like he took in round 1.

 

Impossible to tell

Question; How good is Danny Garcia? We don't know, is Lamont Peterson a top level fighter without cheating? We don't know.

Maidana; is he as dangerous as we was once thought? and is he honestly that good?

All things considered I still believe Zab Judah was Amir Khan's single most impressive display of complete boxing we have seen to date.

As far opponents go, I'm tempted to say Lamont Peterson is the best fighter he's fought. I'm not sure its that relevant anyway is it?
