Wlad hardly ever won a brawl. Watch the Mercer/Tua vs Lewis

How can you say opinions and fanboyism aside when you say Lewis was brutally ktfo twice.. when it's very obvious he made the count against Mccall and the stoppage was debatable to say the least? I don't get people like you because you guys know deep down.. what's what. Why not just come out and say the truth?

Wlad either had a very suspect chin or a very suspect defense/stamina. Either way... that version of Wlad would have been knocked out against any elite fighter with power. One thing we know for sure, Lewis PRIOR to Steward fought big punchers like Ruddock-Bruno-Mason. It's very very lucky for Wlad to be born a few years later.

I'm a huge fan of the Klitschkos, but Wlad's chin is brutal.

So your opinion is: the man who has been KD 13 times, sometimes by grazing punches - who has been stopped 3 times - has a better chin than a guy who was KD 2 times?
Once counted out, once stopped by the ref when on his feet.

So, the 1 time Lewis was counted out means Wlad had a better chin?

    Forget Castillo knocking Wlad down.
Forget Hoo Nex having him on the canvas multiple times.
    Touch of Sleep etc.

Wlad has better punch resistance and better recovery. When Lennox got sent to the canvas, he stayed there(fight over). Wlad has gotten off the canvas to win fights on several occasions. Wlad has also never been knocked out cold like Lennox has.

well wladimirs been knocked down a bunch.

but lennox was out cold against rahman and mccall had him doing the funky chicken so ref saved him from a humiliating knockout

The Lewis weak chin myth is tired and old. I saw Lewis take far too many big shots from people with a decent punch to ever categorize him as glass jawed, or even remotely close to that. Lewis' problem was concentration, when he wasn't on his game, or just thought he was too good for his opponent he would fight in a way that would present many opportunities to his opponent. Lewis was too relaxed for his own good sometimes.

Wlad's chin might be a worse, but he is a bit harder to hit (these days) than Lennox was. Wlad's style might not entertain that much but he has a control of distance, and timing that is very much under appreciated. There is a good video of Lennox on Youtube showing him taking punches from plenty of people you don't take punches from if you have a glass jaw - that video made me think two things, 1) Lewis' chin is better than people realise, 2) It would be hard to make a video like that for Wlad other than his 3 losses and a couple of other fights, he just doesn't get hit cleanly enough.

Lewis has the better chin, Wlad has more effective stye from a defensive perspective.

When 74% of posters pick one fighter over the other, it's not divided at all. Anyone who actually watched all of their fights would know Lewis has a much better chin. Vlad was down in ONE fight more than Lewis was in his entire career.
