I'm so tired of hearing Khan talk and people talk about him like he's done anything. He should be in the same category as Berto. do we take him seriously when he says he wants Mayweather? No. We laugh because its funny.

The difference is Berto has a chin. I thought that would be obvious.

Some say that Berto has a glass chin but it´s not true. He gets knocked down but seems like it´s rather difficult to ever put him to sleep.
Khan on the other hand has a bad bad chin but he still accomplished more.

They are both gatekeepers at this point. Only thing is Khan could've done so much more with his career had he kept on Roach and just moved up in weight. He was doing ****-all waiting for everyone to win at 140lbs. He should've moved on to 147lbs after his loss.

Khan has beaten better fighters. Kotelnik, Maidana, Judah, Malignaggi, and arguably Peterson, all within the top 10 at the time he fought them.

Berto's best win is Quintana at 147. Decent but doesn't compare to the body of work Khan has.

Berto doesn't have a terrible chin. He gets KD, but compared to Khan's, Berto's chin is bronze.

I don't understand this either. ESB just has a bad habit of hating anything British.

The differences between the two are night and day, but the one thing hey do have in common is they are, and were, overrated.

But in Kahn's defense, he definately has a bigger up side in that he can box, has speed and decent footwork and power. The only advantages Berto posseses over Kahn is maybe power and definately chin.

I agree. I think Khan gets absolutely way too much hate. His chin may be suspect, but his heart is granite. He's an exciting fighter with exceptional skills. I hear people questioning his ring IQ. Perhaps he's no Mayweather. But he gets the respect of a guy like Malinaggi on the Showtime telecast. I think the respect from your fellow fighters means more than fans. I doubt Khan would beat Mayweather. But I honestly think he has as good a chance as just about anyone around that weight class. Like Malinaggi says, he's a difficult guy to win rounds against. He stays busy. He has one of the best jabs in the business. His hand speed is second to none. The big questions are his defense and his punch resistance. I think Hunter has improved his decision making. It's a work in progress. If Khan can beat a fighter like Devon Alexander....I don't see why he shouldn't deserve a shot at Mayweather. And if he loses, everyone can go back to knocking him for all his flaws. I respect a guy that aspires to fight the best and be the best.

With how bad Guerrero was, I think Khan would be a step-above. Honestly, Guerrero didn't accomplish **** to get the Mayweather fight. Khan has arguably done way more to deserve the fight. I wouldn't want to see Khan fight Mayweather, but I'd definitely prefer to see him over Robert no-hope, no-heart Guerrero.

It's ridiculous the type of hate Khan receives on these boards. He's an outstanding boxer with a solid ass resume.

Khan mostly brings the hate upon himself with his talk. He makes a lot of excuses as to his performances if he loses or struggles. He also frustrates with flashes of absolute brilliance undermined by amateurish mistakes that he's never been able to correct. From an overall perspective though, he's a much more proven fighter than Berto with more talent. However, with his weak chin and the aforementioned mistakes, against the top guys(or just bad style matchups) he will always have problems. For example, as limited as Berto is, I'd expect Berto to stop Khan if they ever fought, despite my opinion that Khan is overall a superior fighter.
