Point being, they all require clients. The biggest clients who make them the most money will not be individuals but organisations.

If their testing is lacking, they lose their clients and money.

Different is not necessarily better or worse.

Think its more of a political thing, than avtually trying to hide something.

Its not like VADA is any more prestigious that USADA.

USADA is the premier PED testing organization in the United States, to imply they would compromise the integrity of their testing (and future of the organization) for GBP is ****ing laughable.

Different labs test for different substances and have different equipment and personell. There are a couple of things they always have to test, but when it comes to the rest there's no lab or organisation exactly the same.
If they all tested exactly the same, you would never get articles like ".... lab found new designer drug" or "new .... testing method reveals latest ped"

    Of course.

But my point was, they will still all be up to date. If one makes an advancement the others will soon follow suit in fear of being left behind and made obsolete.

Good stuff. Drug testing needs more discussion.

    They are.
But like I said in my first reaction here, VADA has the name to reveal trace amounts... GBP doesn't like that at all.

Your logic is flawed because you assume the organization's goal it to get "positive" testing results. For GBP (or TR or even the belt ABCs) in fact that is contrary. All these organizations main goal is to make money from the FIGHT. If the contract agreement allows the other fighter to cancel the fight, then it defeats the BOTTOM LINE.

Testing for these organizations is a PR move and to satisfy one or both boxers demand. It is not about safety or the actual integrity of the sport.

So the idea trying to get a positive test is the motivation for drug testing is incorrect IMO. In fact, I would bet that it is EXACT OPPOSITE for any boxing organization.

    Good press for VADA then.

To be honest, GBP probably see the modern request for testing a hinderance. They only have to run with it because the need to keep FMJ happy.

You've got confused. They are not exclusive to boxing, their total client base is different sports all around the world. That is what I meant by organisations (not sanctioning bodies, promoters or individual boxers).

Boxing is a tiny stream of revenue for them, therefore it is not worth risking their reputations with their "main" clients.

That is true but boxing is so small and the testing period is small that any testing results between VADA and USADA, they can easily claim that it is just a statistical anomaly.
