Isn't that effectively what he is saying. I am a Welterweight, if you want to fight at Welterweight we can fight. If not I will fight somebody else.

 He fought cotto and oscar at 154! Why didn't you have an issue with that? I bet you're the same guy who hates on pac for fighting Oscar at 147 but more than happy for floyd to weight drain canelo?

Why should Canelo be allowed to breeze down to 154 & enter the ring on fight night at 170?

If he wants that type of advantage he's gonna have to work for it & come down to 147..

Personally I'd prefer to see a fight night weight stipulation.... People really need to understand that there is a massive weight difference between these two.

Why does he hold a 154 title then if he's a welterweight?

yep, I guess it is in Mayweather-centric world he lives in. Most fighters would just move up in weight if they REALLY wanted to fight a guy in a higher division though.

floyd got lots of credit for beating oscar at that weight. One of his best wins. Cotto a good win too.

Neither of us said we were happy for Mayweather to fight Canelo at 147lbs. Please show us where we said that. Mayweather hasn't even said that.

I didn't like the rehydration clause no.... Making Oscar boil down to 147 is one thing, only allowing him to rehydrate a few pounds after was plain wrong.

I'd 100% criticise Floyd for doing that to Canelo.

Find me a quote where Mayweather says he wants to fight Saul Alvarez and I will drop the argument and admit defeat and Floyd is being a *****.

If you can't find a quote, you should admit defeat and rescind your comments about Floyd being a *****......which you won't but you should.

We just don't want to see Canelo weighing 20lbs more than Mayweather on fight night...

Canelo is a big ****ing guy

Thats the game these days and how weigh-ins operate. Why is it an issue because Mayweather is involved? Shall we change things just for him or just admit at Alvarez is too big and Mayweather doesn't really fancy the fight?

Mayweather is happy to flirt with the 154lb division against guys he knows he can beat. If Canelo hadn't fought Trout but instead had scraped past someone like Molina, Mayweather would be calling him out at 154, without a question. When fighting Cotto, Mayweather said it should be at 154 because he didn't want to fight him at a weight Cotto was weak at, yet now he's calling to fight Canelo at 147? Please.

It's like people haven't learned from the Williams, Pacquiao, Margarito, Mosley etc., situations. How many times does Mayweather have to prove that he will not fight opponents unless they're vulnerable? It simply isn't going to happen. He will continue to duck the toughest challenges until he retires.

Oh come on man, you don't want this fight to happen at 154. You want it at WW as floyd is a WW.
