His jab, size, and overall ability. I don't give him anywhere near the chance I'd give some other fighters, but in my opinion any fighter who is willing to throw in combination and take some shots back can trouble Broner.

I mean, Quintero and PDL beat him. It doesn't take world-class athleticism or a brilliant boxing brain. Broner isn't active and relies on his opponents sucking. When they don't and actually put together a game plan that makes him be the aggressor, he doesn't look so good.

Which is one reason I think Gonzalez would beat Broner. But there's plenty of challenges for him at 140 and 147, so we'll see. I just see Broner getting derailed sooner rather than later. He's a Chad Dawson type fighter in my opinion. World class skills and attributes, but no boxing brain behind them to apply the tactics. This is why he will never be another Mayweather. Well, that and the fact that he really doesn't have much defense or footwork to speak of.

Anyone who isn't a brittard knew Broner would knock the **** out of Burns a year ago. Burns being **** in his last fight comes as no surprise to a lot of us. Literally ONLY british posters are defending Burns and trying to convince people he is world level/has a chance against Broner.

I realize you guys have almost 0 world level fighters, but it's time to be realistic. Burns is ****.

I lost my vcash on the Froch-Kessler fight many years ago and haven't bet since. I picked Froch to win no shame in it.

BTW I'd bet my real life savings that Broner would KO Burns.:deal

Burns is better than DeMarco and has a far better defence, he would not be sitting in the pocket

Gonzalez style wise is far more wrong for Ricky than your beloved Adrien

Broner will not get an easy night with Burns and he certainly isn't stopping him inside 7 rounds

The proof wil be in the pudding though

Burns is a very good fighter and no one says he is of the caliber of Broner, people are saying he'd giive him a tough fight, Broner himself has beaten no one yet

To be fair, at age 24 Ricky Burns lost wide to Carl Johanneson. Not world champion PDL, Carl Johanneson. And Alex Arthur. Two guys not up to the level of Gavin Rees.

Guess what? Ricky Burns improved. Maybe Broner has improved too since he was 21 and fought PDL. Or when was 19 and fought Quintero.

By the way, if PDL beat Broner, then surely the far bigger and far better boxer Malinaggi will clown and school Broner. Right?

And yet Malinaggi is a 14/1 underdog. Why? Because the bettors think Broner has improved, a lot.

Terrible boxing analysis of a fanboy. Broner had a bad night against PDL a workd class fighter when he was young. Since than hes blown out workd class competition in Escobedo and Demarco, two fighters that are superior to Burns. Broner has excellent footwork, bouncing around =/= good footwork. Hes economical and conserves his energy and is able to corner his opponent where he has excellent punch variation and power in both hands.
Broner has very good defense. Even in the PDL fight he was just outworked with PDL not landing anything significant

Love to do a bet with you on this fight, too bad Burns knew hed lose and ducked Broner. You have more confidence in him than he does himself it seems

I'll be putting down some money on Paulie, because if Broner hasn't improved seriously, then Paulie will outbox him. And also because the odds are ridiculously skewed.

I would bet on Broner to beat Burns, but I don't think it would be a Demarco-esque blowout.
