Would you consider Floyd vs Golovkin a 50-50 fight ?

Floyd will never be the underdog in any fight at this point, not until he gets really old and starts winning legit 115-113 type of fights. As of right now, not too many people would be crazy enough to bet against him, not even against Golovkin. Doesn't mean he'd beat him, but until Floyd loses, he'd always appear as unbeatable coming in to a fight. Any one from 140-160 would be underdog against Floyd, any one. Canelo, Lara, Martinez, Golovkin, Quillin, Garcia, Peterson, Matthysse, Khan, Pacquiao, Chavez Jr. But there's absolutely no reason for Floyd to fight any MW, he's only 150lbs on fight night, he's already currently outweighed by the majority of JWW's and WW's.

Golovkin would have too many advantages.
He outreaches (very few opponents did), outpowers Floyd and can certainly take his punches.
He will get hit more because of the skill difference, but will hit Floyd so much harder back and bust him up.

    I'd say 70-30 for GGG.

No. Golovkin would crush him. Hell, half of the current top 10 at 160 would defeat Floyd. Money is simply too small for middleweight. That's why we have weight classes...

GGG wears him down, beats him up and stops him in the later rounds. Floyd is a great fighter but he's outsized and out muscled at 160 by a guy like Golovkin. Id give him a better shot against Martinez.

    What a shock.

Also, you said Canelo was a MW. He's not. He's a JMW.

    Size matters in this case.

If Golovkin were unskilled it would, but the kid can fight, and he can bang. This is some second rate fighter.

80-20 in favour of Golovkin at 160 (stupid weight for the fight). 60-40 in favour of GGG at 154. There's always the chance that Mayweather cuts him up i suppose.

1 - There's more chance of Floyd facing Martinez than Golovkin and 2 yes I would as Golovkin's power and size advantage would be an equaliser to Floyd's speed and technical abilities, I may even have Golovkin as favourite

I think Floyd would outbox GGG. But again, he would not fight him.

    His footwork????:huh:huh:huh

    Are you dense.

His footwork is his magic. He floats effortlessly into his punches. He footwork is so good that he doesnt have to exert energy defending or chasing his oppnents.

If Floyd and GGG were to fight at 160......Floyd would be KOd in 2 rds.

Bring ggg down to 150, and Floyd wins a decision.:think

Golovkin could starve and still destroy Mayweather. Mayweather is a soft fighter. Everything has to be perfect for him, dictated. GGG would prison **** him.
