The legend, RayRobinson333 just uploaded 4 plus minutes of this fight: http://www.youtube.com/user/rayrobinson333
Great upload. See that he's water-marked it with his own name? This is because people are dowloading boxing then re-uploading it on their own YT channel. People can't even accept what is given to them for free graciously sometimes.
Poor Laguna looked lost in there.:-( Locche schooled him badly. Size (Cervantes), speed (Laguna), verstality (Ortiz), power (Hernandez), skills (Fuji) - nothing ever worked against El Intocable.:yep
Nice, some great moves there from both of them. I think this is taken from an excellent Spanish language documentary about Laguna that I watched on youtube some time ago: Historia Biografia de Ismael Laguna or something like that. Locche was only in his mid-twenties at this point and looks a bit more mobile and lighter on his feet than during his title reign imo.
Great upload Ortiz supposedly got robbed and I don't think Loche schooled Laguna by any means there, he didn't land allot himself and Laguna while missing allot landed maybe more due to his workrate, especially when he crowded him Not much footage of Ortiz-Loche but Ortiz's jab and short punches on the inside get through in this short clip, certainly a tactical thinking match from these 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KP5w-d8U73s
A draw in places like Argentina or Japan almost guarantees the homegrown product got the worst of it. From the footage available there, you've got to give Laguna the points. All the same it's good to see defensive specialists get some preferential treatment once in a while.
I thought south American draws occurred because there had to be a certain margin on the scorecards before a win/loss could be rendered.
I think Loche is being sold a tad short here, he had to be keeping Laguna down to a 10% connect there. Not obvious enough
