Something doesn't stack up with Haye cancellation.

Haye says he's injured his hand which needs 4 weeks rest. Even this far out that's quite strange. But why not just postpone the fight? To cancel the whole event just doesn't make sense to me. He must have something else line up either Fury or Vitali. There's absoloutley no reason to cancel and not postpone otherwise

The fight was 7 weeks away. He he cannot spar for 4 of those weeks, he won't be in good condition. Booth & Haye are big on sparring.

How much sparring do you need? 3 weeks not enough? Even then why not just push it back a few weeks. Why cancel the fight rather than postpone it? I'm dubious there even is an injury. Just doesnt stack up at all

Come on now, Haye should only fight when his back, his toes and his hands are in perfect shape.

Like I said, Haye likes sparring.

Venue not available. No Sky date available.

Ticket sales could have been poor though.

Your telling me if Eddie goes to sky saying look I know we have no dates left but can we not find room for this massive Haye bill on normal sky sports they would say no? It would bring in millions of viewers course they would make an exception and give him an extra date

  10. Oh dear. Sky/Matchroom are not having a good time of it.

Forget sparring, he can't punch for 4 weeks... And 3 weeks to get your timing and speed etc isn't enough time

Think Haye learned his lesson entering fights with an injury, isn't doing the same this time round.

Having a ****ed hand in the lead up to a comeback fight after a year out, if it doesn't heal as it's meant to or the fact he can't get in the condition needed for fight night & he loses the fight, his career is basically over.
