Nah, Khan is just massively underrated now by all the chin ***s and "flavour of the month" types. Matthysse is also a little overrated, and I think his flaws will be exposed by that cheating ***** Peterson (I hope I'm wrong though). Matthysse stops Khan in a H2H match however, but there's no shame in that, it's just a terrible style match up for him.

 

Funny I was thinking about this same **** yesterday rewatching the Garcia Zab fight, big punchers in Garcia and Matthysse couldn't keep him down but pillow fisted Khan ko's him, I'm 100% sure Zab took a dive vs Khan he threw almost no punches the whole fight, then quits after a soft body shot/low blow then blames it on the ref, i'm 100% sure of it......................

There is a reason GB has given Zab another date after that debacle, and put him right back in the championship fold after that quit job, he was rewarded for being a "good boy"

 

zab fought with the worst gameplan I've ever seen. he was focusing more on how to knee dip instead of attacking or counter punching.

 

same people calling Mathysse a beast will be the same ones calling him a hype job when he losses boxing true boxing fans do not exist on this forum anymore

 

People forget that Matthysse is a good boxer too. He will hurt badly or stop Lamar in the lately rounds.

 

People also forget that Khan is fast starter and stays active with his offense, while at the time Matthysse was a slow starter but gave Judah a hard time later rounds when he started picking it up.

Matthysse is the most overrated fighter today. Welcome to reality. Lamont Peterson is gonna destroy him.

 

interesting the defence of zab judah antics when i wouldnt be surprised if the same people slag haye off.

so its ok for one dude to get his game plan wrong but not another..

feather fisted fighters dont have a majority of wins via TKO`s on theyre record

and if his chin isnt there at the end of a punch its less relevant..

 

Some fighters can handle power better than they can handle speed.

I find it that fighters who once were fast and now are old and slow, cant handle the speed come their way.
I'd guess is that many of those still fight with the mentality that they are fast, when in reality they're slow and thus cant handle whats coming at them.
