Compared to other sporting activities, aren't injury rates from strength training quite low?

Ive often wondered that, talking and working in the Field, with some of the best, Ive had some interesting discussions.Strength Training is important, no question, but doesnt cause injuries, of course it does. youre living in Cuckoo land if you think it doesnt

From my own personal experience, I've mostly gotten muscle strains from strength training...no ligament, tendon, or bone injuries as far as I remember.

Biceps, lower back, trapezius, adductors, quads, and hamstrings. Thankfully none required surgery, and all healed on their own. I'd say almost all were due to improper warmup, and a few due to bad form or high risk exercises. For instance, if you're going to do heavy deadlifts using a supinated grip, your biceps are going to have a bad time...mine sure did.

Most injuries, occur through bad maintenance of the side that mostly stabilizes the action the body undertakes causing an imbalance in all round muscular tone, that is caused primary through the eyes. Stretching Helps stop this.

When doing weights, most of the time you are working off your mechanical Break the Heel, thats why it is safe. In active Sport you dont work, off the the Heel. In action Power comes from the Hip area, its that which generates Force, to the thing that moves us, the Floor. We know what that does, it causes impact, theres the problem that causes injury. If the muscular around the Hip area are not Balanced, there problems throughout the Body in compensating, your centre of Gravity. It effects everything, the whole Body, which works All or Nothing, through Touch and Feel. More Force without Balance of the structure, is a accident waiting to happen. Thats why I make them stretch, it works. Oh I do a lot of Strength work with it too.
