Zou is a knockout waiting to happen. That Mexican kid who beat Viloria on Zou's undercard would give him the business. I'm all for exploring new markets and bringing boxing to new markets but Zou isn't the guy to do it.
Zou is there to open up the market. And lets not forget that it was his first pro fight. Not everyone is like Guillermo you know.
Zou is not the end all and be all. 1 billion population. And they come in all shapes and sizes so competition can be expected on all weight class. China just needs a right start. India? I don't think they are a big fan of combat sports. And I think curry weakens the legs.
Considering China is not a boxing savvy nation, he might not have to step up for a long time; possibly ever. He could pull a Joe Cal-Ottke and get some token strap and fight bums for a decade and make 10 times the money those two got.
Thats very smart. I would fight bums and make a lot of money and step up when finances aren't my biggest concern anymore.
Coming from a Top Rank employee and apologist that's rich. This very thread and your response in it are one of the many reasons why people think you work for Top Rank. BTW how did that Gabe Montoya story turn out for you?:rofl
So to fix the so called bias towards "the greats" we need another wave of clueless boxing fans out of Asia who only started watching boxing when someone the same ethnicity as them got popular within the last year?
Whatever happened to that Indian heavyweight? I can't remember his name but he was spoken about once or twice on here.
Picked up a LOT of credibility when Morales was allowed to fight with two failed tests that were only revealed because Angel Garcia leaked it. :yep You find that hag for Oscar that got him busted in his fishnets? He pays you WAY too much. :deal
