Everyone was drooling for the re-match. Absolute shame it didn't happen-left questions about both fighters greatness.

Brilliant fight, IMO the lamon Brewster vs Sergei Liakhovich bout was just as good go see it on YouTube it was a great back and forth battle prob the only other close tight fight between heavys in the last decade, but of course both men were not as good over all bar the odd fight as Lewis and vits

 

That was a great fight. It's just a shame it left as many questions as it did answers. You can't blame Lewis for retiring when he did

 

That was the last fight I considered PPV worthy...

 

I was a big Lewis fan back then and this was the only time I saw him get pushed around like that. Great fight, shame that it had to end because of a cut - I would have loved to see a few more rounds.

 

Great ****ing fight, remember it like it was yesterday.

Honest to god, If they had of had a rematch, and Lewis came in shape second time around Vitali is going home on a stretcher.

 

Probably the best fight since Bowe-Holyfield. This was a classic war. The boxing was nothing special, but man o' man was it a nice fight to watch.

 

Amazing to think that Vitali was a replacement opponent for big Lennox.

Brutal action!.

 

Not to many men that could take an uppercut like that, and keep moving forward, wow..

 

Vitali took on a great Champion like Lewis on 10 days notice and did incredibly well. Would have been great to see a rematch with both men having a full camp for each other.

Both were totally exhausted when the fight was stopped. Neither could have gone the 12.

Lennox had never been in a fight like that, that's for sure.
