Marlon Starling vs. Billy Graham

    In and out...jabbing like a master...with the precision of a surgeon, one of my favorite boxers, Graham,...beats another favorite of mine, Starling. Graham W15 Starling.

    I agree.

    Starling was better suited to countering and dismantling aggressive fighters, he's great against the athletic awkward offensive beasts that can often confuse a textbook fighter.But on the other hand he could be lulled into a stupor by the more conservative or technical minded outside fighters and didn't really have the long-range arsenal to succeed in a fencing chessmatch type fight that would take place mainly at long range.

    If he really pressured and forced things inside it could be really interesting as not many fighters were any harder to hit inside, but i just don't see Marlon as having that sort of mentality too often against cuties.

    And of course Graham was no mug when it came to engaging on inside terms either...

    No matter what it would be close, but Graham likely holds the advantage.

    Marlon would edge Billy in a very close matchup.
