Matthyse or Peterson who u got???

Peterson will have his personal referee and judges like he did when he cheated Khan, but Matthysse knows he has to take it out of Peterson's judges hands, the referee will try to protect Peterson all he can, probably take about 5 points away from Matthysse, call all the knockdowns slips. Will Peterson be heavily juiced this time as well?

 

I'm pretty certain Matthysse takes him out. Probably late in the fight.

Lucas has learned the hard way that you can't have your fate in the hands of the judges against an American on US soil. So if Peterson is still up in the 9th he will certainly try to force the issue, even if he believes he's up on the cards.

peterson wins this for me. will be a great fight but i think peterson can survive a few scares to keep the heat on matthyse and win a close but deserved decision. very underated fighter peterson who has good skills but importantly great work rate and will to win

 

Peterson says he's going to war with Lucas..I don't know why he would do that, he's a decent boxer, movement and speed give Matthysse problems, not trading at close range.

Peterson has strong durability (wonder why...) but other than that I don't see how people can see this fight as a close call?

If Peterson had difficulties with the bull-rushes of Khan and Ortiz he's going to have nightmares with Matthyse's subtler advances. Lucas is a lot more thought-through, he won't be wasting punches left, right and centre and he's harder to hit clean.

Matthyse by stoppage around the 10th or 11th as Peterson starts to take some serious punishment.

I agree imo he will show hes number 1 lww and i give Petersen a better chance vs Lucas than i do Garcia.

 

Khan & Ortiz are a lot faster than Matthysse. I think both will be hurt in this fight but Peterson will take home a deserved points win.

I have a feeling Peterson pulls this one out of his drug fuelled ass somehow. Matthysse can be out boxed, and as much as I despise him, Lamont has all of the tools to expose his flaws. Lamont by a close (possibly controversial) UD.

 

Peterson is a cheating fraud. It's shocking he's allowed to fight and it's no surprise he's suddenly become a knock out artist whose punching volume and power has increased post the Tim Bradley fight.

Lucas Matthyse is currently one of my favourite boxers to watch but i think he will struggle in this fight with the sheer volume of punches, power and movement from Peterson. I would like nothing better then Lucas to stop him but i have my doubts.

With regret i have to say Peterson via UD points win.
