Who has Broner beat? Has Canelo beat better fighters than Bradley? He, or Froch?

Oh, it is Vitali hater time, I see. Vitali has dominated the heavyweight division since he lost to Lennox Lewis in 2003. After an almost 4 year layoff, he beat, abused and raped the #2 heavyweight, Sam Peter. He beat another top ten heavyweight in Chris Arreola like he stole something from him. Tomasz Adamek was the #2 heavyweight contender when Vitali easily defeated and stopped him. Johnson, Briggs, Sosnowski and Solis weren't great wins, but he dominated them. Well, in the Solis match, he hit him and the man hurt his knee on the way down, but either way, a fair victory.

Now, granted this isn't the deepest heavyweight division in history, but it still doesn't mean we completely discount the fact that the Klitschko brothers have been exceptionally dominant, especially Wladimir. Hence, Wladimir is rated higher than Vitali on my list. With a somewhat weak heavyweight division, the Klitschko brothers have done what they should have, dominate.

Now, as you should know, these lists are subjective. In case you do not know what the word means, here is the definition.

    Subjective:

    Adjective
Based on or influenced by personal feelings, tastes, or opinions.

So, this is my list, my opinion. This is, in no way, a knock against Abner Mares. He has a very nice resume and is still going strong. He did fight some very close fights against Perez and Darchinyan and had a little controversy against Agbeko in their first encounter with the low blows, but he still did not lose any of those fights. I give him a lot of credit. His last four fights have been nothing short of excellent.

The difference between you and I is that I can actually disagree with someone without feeling the need to respond in such a ****y manner. But, since you want to critique, where is Carl Froch on your list? Or how about Nonito Donaire? They both have great resumes. So they lost to two of the very best in the game in Ward and Rigondeaux. So that means we should show no love for them? They both have better resumes than Mares. Alvarez in also a bit high, don't you think? I am a fan of the guy and picked him to beat Trout, but let's not lose sight of the fact that Trout is the only really good win on his resume. Ryan Rhodes is his second best win and that is not saying a whole lot. Now, had he schooled a top 5 pound-for-pound fighter like Rigondeaux did in beating Donaire, then I could see him being so high. Anyway, this is just my two cents.

Yeah, Bradley a little too high but it's good to see someone putting Hopkins in, he's left out of people's lists too often. Then again people place different values on different criteria. Personally I put a high value on entire resume not just what people have done recently.

Broner is only #14 on my list, unlike many other lists, including the shitty Ring Magizine's new list. Canelo has actually won a real world title, which can not be said for Bradley. Bradley was # 8 on my list, but after clearly losing to Pacquiao and fighting life and death against Provodnikov in a fight that would have been a draw had the knockdown in round one been called, I put him down to #11 and then down to #13 after Canelo and Mares did so well in their recent fights. So, in Bradley's case, it is what have you done lately.

Carl Froch? You must be kidding. He has a very impressive resume. He was the first to defeat Pascal, he beat Taylor, Abraham, Johnson and destoyed Bute, who was the undefeated #1 contender at super middleweight. He has only lost clearly to Ward, in my opinion and there is NO shame in that.

Froch beat Taylor after he'd been stopped and decisioned by KP...Abe had lost fights and wasn't competitive at SMW...Johnson was a gate keeper by the time they fought. He had a great win against Bute. I could break Bute down, but like you said, he was undefeated. It is easy to undress fighters victories if you want to, so I'll stop there. I just don't think Bradley is appreciated enough here. I honestly don't feel like the "robbery" against Manny was a robbery.

Well, there is your answer. If you count Bradley's win over Pac, then sure, he should definitely still be in the top ten p4p. Notice I said, "still". I used to have Bradley as top ten. He is certainly an outstanding fighter with guts like few others. I am not hating on Bradley, but I certainly and strongly disagree with the decision over Pacquiao. We will just have to agree to disagree on that one. :good I listed more than ten on my list to give credit to those who I feel are right outside of that mythical list, like Bradley, Mares and Canelo.

P.S. : I would not argue with anyone who already has Mares in the top ten. Again, these lists are subjective and I feel that Mares is just outside of that list at the moment. However, I feel he should definitely be behind Rigondeaux on anyone's list.

I don't think Sergio Martinez belongs on that list...period, nor does Manny Pacquiao coming off of two consecutive losses. Here is my list

    1. Floyd
    2. Ward
    3. Marquez
    4. Rigondeaux
    5. Donaire
    6. Froch
    7. Gamboa
    8. Canelo
    9. Bradley
    10. Wladimir Klitschko

Bradley deserves to be on, but towards the bottom 3 spots of the top 10. Wlad should be a little lower. Dawson and Garcia DO NOT deserve to be on there right now, would probably switch them out for guys like Donaire, Rigo, etc.

Ambivalent about including Hopkins, (you never know if you're going to get a good B-hop or one that looks his age on fight night) would probably feel better with Froch in his place.

My order would probably be more like:

    Mayweather
    Ward
    Marquez
    Rigo
    Pacquiao
    Martinez
    Donaire
    Wlad
    Mares
    Bradley/Froch

Order gets a little rough after the first 3-4.
