That has to be complete bull****.
Seriously no one knows who David Diaz is. He is the guy who BARELY beat an old Morales and was the first fight in the JMM-PAc undercard.
PPV sales will probably be between 200-250 thousand. Diaz is not even Mexican so that will not draw many people in like JMM, MOrales, and Barrera.

    I'll tell u why.
Pac is having a ahrd time making the w8 in sf that's why
So he have to go up in lw. And the most easiest opponent up there is david, not that i am underestimating the guy. Other than he has the belt and defeated em in his resume(so he has experience against an elite though imo em really won). He also is coming from a win and arum handles him.
Is that hard to understand dude?

No one knows who David Diaz is but millions know who Manny Pacquiao is... PAC has a $5.5M purse fighting at 130... Fighting at higher weight class should generally give you larger purse for the bigger fights and the more tougher and bigger challenges... For example, PAC is asking $30M to fight someone at 147...

Just imagine if PAC is campaigning at heavyweight...

The present crap of boring heavyweights gets $5M to $10M purses, imagine if there's an exciting and dedicated heavyweight (as exciting and dedicated as PAC) boxer, imagine what will be his purse?

I favor a PAC-JMM 3 but should happen at 135 coz they have not produced a clear winner at 126 and 130. Now let's see who will come out with a clear victory (preferably a KO) at 135... Who do you think between PAC and JMM has the bigger chances of scoring a KO at 135?

there is no doubt that the toughest opponent pac has ever fought is jmm as they have completely opposite styles which make them evenly matched and their fights very close. but to pac's credit, he has fought jmm twice already. compare this to pbf who is yet to fight cotto, his perceived biggest threat and you'll begin to appreciate pac more.

a third fight between them will certainly happen in the future but why are some people in such a hurry for it to happen immediately. pac already has concrete plans @135 while jmm in the meantime can always fight the other beldholders @130 or even 135 if he chooses to in preparation for a 3rd pac fight @135.

and if jmm wasn't able to stop pac @130, much more @135. if there is someone who will possibly do the stopping @135, it will be pac. but imho, it will again be a very close fight but the winner via razor-thin decision could be different this time around.

I fell bad for JMM. I think for the meantime he should fight another big name fighters like Juan Diaz, or Guzman, Valero. It should not be that his world revolve only around Pac.

.. He likes to fight and win over pac to put some flavor to his father luckluster resume'. Take out the Mab fight, what's left in the resume'?

Win over Rocky Juarez? or the KO over JACA? ..surely a win over pac will add luster to his resume'.

i interesting win over Guzman or valero would add color to his resume.
not a boring 12 rounds win like what he did to Juarez..

    Of course its not true.....
.....how in the hell can someone think that Pac would make more money fighting Diaz where the PPV will undoutedly not come close to the over 500K sold for the JMM fight?

Thats either just Bob Arum politicing to gain maximum financial leverage again on a third JMM fight, or Arum altogether just ducking the possibility of a third fight with JMM.

Pretty much the way I see it, if a third fight between JMM and Pac is to be made, Arum will insist that JMM get paid about the same as he did for the 2nd fight with Pac.

If a third fight between JMM and Pac is to be made, undoubtedly considering that JMM brought quite a bit more PPV sales than either Morales of MAB did when they fought Pac, it means Arum must cough up a significant amount more money to JMM, which in my estimation is unlikely coming from Arum to JMM!

Arum has always treated Marquez like a second class citizen, I doubt that will ever change, considering Arum hates Nacho Beristein with a passion for not letting himself be handled by Arum like a string puppet!

Pac will make nowhere close to what he made for his fight with JMM.

First of all, Arum is full of bull****, and we all know that, right?

I actually doubt Pacquiao had a set 5.5 mill purse when the fight was a 70-30 split, that means no more than $5 million and then again you add the ppv percentage and tv rights from his country. My guess is that Top Rank and GBP estimated at least a 300k ppv sales to cover the purses and other expenses, and then split the remainder.

How can Arum say that Pacquiao will earn more fighting David "struggle with bums" Diaz. The guy is practically unknown and if the guy he fought last had any power he would have lost. The only draw here is obviously Pacquiao and without a solid undercard the event will only do around 200k ppv buys at best , just like the Solis fight. That only means around 10+ million bucks for Arum. We already know we can't take this guy seriously and now he is telling us he is willing to take the smallest piece of the pie, please.

He is again using these types of ploys to downplay Marquez and move towards milking as much as possible from Pacquiao before he faces a serious threat again and loses, downsizing his profits. Its just that simple.

Ok lets see. at 126 Pac got 3 Kds with JMM. at 130 1 Kd and you think at 135 he is gonna do more damage???? Mathematically it does not add up. I think at 135 Pac does the worst. His power will not be there and speed will diminish.
JMM already said to PAc. Name your weight class. He will be there.

Nah! he's just really proud of JMM! LOOK at JMM's resume'

After thier D last time in 04'. Divac claims JMM is sooooooooo
good or soooooooooo great! Look at his resume after his GIFTED
    DRAW from PAC.

    Win over the ffw

Salido - Salido who? Never even mentioned in the ESB
    Polo - Polo who?
Chris John - Oh! JMM did not lose correct? **** that all the judges they were all paid! - sign of sour loser! always somebody to BLAME!
Jandaeng - wow! Jandaeng! Jandeang who!
Jaca - yupeee!!!!! Jaca is a very very very very good right?!
He's the only one that JMM kO'd post fight with pac
Barrera - he was in his prime when he fought JMM correct? Seven
months after.. PAC beat him more convincingly. He is washed
    up right?:patsch :-(
Juarez - a thousand and one punches and juarez never even had a
whoobly leg?! Very impressive! For the record Jaurez did not
    win over MAb too!
Pac - JMM lost!!!! You don't like the result correct! WHAT's our
favorite EXCUSE? ...so EASY point on somebody!!! **** the
Judges! I don't like the decision coz my boxer did not win.

Mr. Judge - either you are paid or you are incompetent!
    So which one are you?

With this impressive RESUME'? Where did you ever imagined that JMM is really technically superior?! If he is his RESUME' does not show it! For me it's just the media or the DIE hard fans which make us believe such a boxer is really really good or great for that matter.

Yeah! REALLY! which win would you say that DAMN! jmm is soooooo good!

Other than his loss to PAC time around! which fights was JMM really IMPRESSIVE?!

U think pac won't accet the challenge? Pac ain't jmm! He said he'll face anyone, anywhere! But of course the last say would be from the promoters...
pac and jmm at 135pnds. would be cool. But let's w8 for pac to have a belt to defend first there. And also jmm must win a fight in 135 to test his wares at lw. I don't want another jmm fan come crying a foul saying pac don't deserve credit to his win against jmm the 2nd time coz "jmm's coming from a loss" (from pac-jmm2). Funny ****..:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl
