I know, but he is as good or better than any 205 guy they have in their hall of fame. That is why it is so unimportant. Getting in the ufc hall of fame is like winning an interim belt. It means you might not be the best the sport has to offer, but you were very good in this one organization.

Why don't we have a StrikeForce Hall of Fame? We could use an EliteXC hall of fame. Does Crazy Horse get in? He knocked out KJ Noons.

One Fighting Championship needs to hurry and make their hall of fame before they fall behind the times.

Let's look at the logic of what you said.

So you want to compare accomplishments now to what might be in 20 years. On that logic alone no one would ever be admitted because of what might happen in the future.

"Sorry Mr. Jordan, we'd love to admit you into the NBA Hall of Fame but there might be a new wave of players who make you look like a third stringer in the future and we're comparing you to a hypothetical future that no one knows anything about."

    See the problem yet?

    Dummy.

You guys most of poeple here are missing completely the point. The UFC HOF will be considered has the MMA HOF by most unknowledgeable people.

I don't think anybody will create a "no license affiliated" MMA HOF.

    Thread took an interesting turn.

Seems right, if the UFC creates a HOF there will be a bunch of tools who refer to it like the bible five years from now. And they will say, "See, Fedors not even on the HOF, Randy's his dad."

    Forget that shiz!

It would be like a bunch of goats kids, haha, kids, running around trolling.

 WTF is this crap? No wonder the UFC HOF is such a pile of ****. Fans are willing to reward mediocrity, and journeymen now make it to the HOF. I take it Pe De Pano, Freeman, Vera, Brock, Carwin and Santos are a lock because they all utterly tooled him. Anyway the criteria is if 'Dana likes you'. On that basis bet your life Mir will make it. HOF LULZ :roll:

The NBA was founded in 1946. Jordan found his fame 40 years later. See the pattern, dummy? What if we had a ton of inferior players sharing a hall of fame space with Jordan? Thanks for solidifying my point. :good

And it's first Hall of Fame Inductee was in 1959.

Do your research lest you look like a fool.

Though, if you ask me, a little late for that last part.

***** ***** *****, says nothing, filled with bitterness and mad over nothing again. What a surprise. :-(

As to your "the criteria is if Dana likes you", here's the video of Tito getting inducted. Being the ultimate expert, I'm sure you're aware that Dana and Tito have a years-long history of getting along great, never having any arguments and saying nothing but nice things about each other, right? :patsch

The underlying problem isn't that the UFC and the NBA are analogous, but that there have already been fighters to establish their names and fame in the more general sport of MMA.

When our favorite fighters of today's favorite fighters of yesterday don't get credit for laying the groundwork because they are from some other org that beefed with Dana White, what are we supposed to think as fans of MMA over fans of UFC? I've been a fan of MMA since Dana White had hair.

On one hand I understand Dana White and the UFC are under no obligation to honor guys like Fedor, but at the same time by not honoring Fedor and taking him out of the books is kind of like ignoring the fact that Aristotle existed. It would also feel like maybe White would do this out of spite to further besmirch Fedor's name and reputation. That's how Dana White is.

What would make partial sense is for the UFC to create a HOF based on all of he orgs it owns. It's not perfect, but at least more people would be included. I'd rather see an umbrella "Zuffa" HOF that includes everyone than just he UFC HOF.

That's even better. They gave it more time to develop all time great players. You just keep shooting yourself in the foot with every post. Aim for the face next time. We'll all be happier.

There is no NBA hall of fame, it's the Basketball hall of fame.
They include college, pro's, international players.

    Yes, a whole 13 years.

How long has the UFC been around? Refresh my memory.
