Would love to see footage of Shogun training in Wild Card.
Before he gassed, I was impressed at how easily Hendricks manhandled Condit. The man is strong as hell.
In all of combat sports, on average, you'll never find stronger athletes than in wrestling. Their core strength is just unreal. Go to your local high school find just a good wrestler there and you will be shocked how easy it is for him to control you and how quickly it will happen. Now imagine someone who is the best in the country at that in his weight class. They're physical freaks. I never wrestled in high school, I played basketball. Now having done BJJ for a while I really regret not doing it.
Hendricks is strong as hell. It will be very interesting to see if GSP will even man handle him like most of his other opponents. He has the technique and experience to treat Hendricks like a kid. In the case that he doesn't, He will no doubt have focused on his jab and control the fight trying to take Johnny into deep waters. Johnny has the power but he doesn't have a good chance landing surprise shots on GSP,
