    Mexico has more fans of boxing, the U.S has the better fighters. Funny how that works.

    Good question. I made a thread a few years ago before one of the big crashes. The total over all tally of current(at the time) was 300 or so boxing champions for the USA, around 200 for Mexico and Puerto Rico a good distant third with around 50-60 champions. The kicker was that out of the 300 or so USA boxing champs, 90 or so were Mexican American like Danny Lopez, Danny Romero, Vargas,ODLH etc..

    If there was no Jose Sulayman, probably Mexico would have produced only 50.
