I remember being pretty impressed by this guy a few months ago. (his fight vs Nicci) I just bumped into that fight again on YouTooob , and was even more impressed on a second viewing. Then I watched him against Rhodes. Same thing. I REALLY like this guy. He has a very similar style to Kovalev & Golovkin: No flash, no wasted movement, just perfect fundamentals and a "no quit" stalking attitude. Not afraid to move in close and just bring it, not afraid to take a glancing punch if he can land a better one in return. - And serious power to back it up. I don't think his defense is quite as good as Kovalev's, and he doesn't quite have Golovkin's arm speed, but he still looks like the goods to me. Balanced, relaxed, powerful, & fearless. --------------- Can someone fill me in on this guy? He obviously needs to step up his level of competition. Does he have good management? Is he well known in Europe? And of course, what do you think of him? Too slow & reserved, or a serious threat to the division?
Needs to get on a plane and get settled in America. Thats where all the action is at 154. Trout, Alvarez,Molina,K9, FLOYD,Cotto,Lara,Angulo,Kirkland,Smith,Vanes are all fighting in America. He needs to go the GGG route,and come to America
He really struggled against a french guy recently i think. He definitely has the talent to win a world title belt though.
SOMEONE should certainly pick him up. Does anyone know what his management / promotional situation is?
