yeah. but you forget that both of them are going up in weight. if pac's speed and power will diminish @135, then so jmm's will do too. speed is very impt for jmm since he depends on his reflexes for his counter-punching. so, in essence nothing will change between them be it @130 or @135. pac will still have the much better chin though.

Arum wants two things of Marquez right now; One, to take on the tough fighters he forgot to put against Pacquiao so that he loses and gets eaten by the earth and bam! clean road for the Pacman. Two, to stay active and winning until he noticeable shows his age so that he can give a green light to the 3rd fight.

This is main reason that this fight cannot wait any longer than next year. I can only hope JMM does well in his next fight and there is enough pressure from the people so that we can have their final showing before the end of the year. Money is not a freaking problem and its absurd to make it an obstacle when it comes to these fighters. It is more of a fabrication from Arum and the pac maniacs grab it like its cake as an excuse for not making this fight sooner.

I can only argue that some fans in esb overrates jmm's resume, yep, but come on man, pac got a hard time against jmm so let's admit it, and for me jmm is really better than em or mab. He's a counter punching machine dude, let's give him credit for that ok?

When Pac beats JMM i will admit it. I have not seen it yet. As Most people say. JMM has won both of those fights. Usually only pinoys disagree. I am not a guy who denies reality. I just know what i saw and i saw JMM winning 2 fights that Pac got based on his popularity.

I am not a pinoy and thought Pacquiao won the second fight with the KD being the difference, and thought their first fight was very close because of the 3 KD (had the judge who scored it a draw scored the first round correctly Pac would have got the victory. :good )

I have scored the second fight 5+ times now and score the fight 6 rounds a peice with the KD being the difference. I also notice you don't mention that Pac Knocked JMM down again at the end of the third round that was never called... Funny the things people call foul at..;)

Erik Morales openly and publicly announcing that he will be rooting for PAC to avenge his "defeat" at the hands of David will surely add some considerable revenue to the PAC-Diaz fight...

PAC and Morales are already good friends...

What is your scorecard and what rnds did you gave to both fighters then?
I give rnds. 1,3,4,9,10,11 for pac. The other rnds. for jmm. Pac wins 114-113.

To tell you the truth 4Rounder, as a JMM fan, I'd prefer to see JMM fight a top caliber figher other than Manny Pacquiao.
.....JMM has been there, beaten that.

Its a pity that Juan Diaz lost to Nate Campbell, as I was hoping that GBP's would beat Arum to the punch and match JMM against Juan Diaz, while Arum matched Pac against a gimme in David Diaz.

A Juan Diaz fight would have kicked dirt in Arum's face, and it would have been a good styles matchup for JMM to be able to handle.

Even before the JMM-Pac rematch got made, I had said that I liked JMM's chances with his counterpunching boxing style and uppercut, against an inside brawler type like Juan Diaz.
It would have been a good payday for both Juan's!

I say GBP should steer JMM away from a MAB rematch, and match him with either Guzman, Valero, or Humberto Soto.

Soto is probably out of the question as I believe he's promoted by Arum.

My preference is Valero, then look at a fair split option vs Pac again.
If Arum is'nt biting for fairness, screw them and top off a sound career with with either a Guzman or Juan Diaz fight, if Juan Diaz has re-established himself.

One thing is for certain....nearing 35 years of age, JMM cant sit around waiting for Pac.
Time to move on and fight other great fighers JMM has'nt already schooled!:bbb

I dont quite remember my card but it was something like 1,2,5,8,11,12, Those were rounds that were JMM rounds and there was 2 more that were close but i saw JMM taking them. I believe maybe 6 and 7.

    Dude, kindly read post.

Like i said, ASIDE from his last fight against PAC! Coz his last fight against pac was impressive among all his previous fights.

So aside his fight against pac, which fight is really really IMPRESSIVE?
I purposely enumerated JMM fights after his draw with pac..so you will know the fights I'm referring!

DAMN! pac could have been the best part of his resume' but too bad only the sour grapes would put JMM's win over pac!

With the list of fights that JMM had! It's rather luckluster! Yes, the so called most skilled fighter has proven his skills to the class b fighters except Mab.

Oh I forgot, you will put JACA, Jaurez, Polo and Jandaeng as Class A. To make JMM's resume more respectable! :hi:

So if you take out the win over MAB? what do you have? Greatest achievement in reality is D against pac.

In fairness, He gained my respect in his last fight with pac but like I said if you take out his last fight against pac.. WHAT do you have left?:huh

Like any good boxing fan that appreciates JMM, I also want him to take the good fights and build a very respectable resume.

I would like to see him fight Guzman the most. Valero's brawler style, which is taylor made for JMM is a fine choice as well since he is highly regarded. Taking the ring belt from Casamayor is another goodie for him. And of course like most of us, I feel strongly that Marquez getting that W next to Pacquiao is imperative, and the sooner the better. :good

Problem is that JMM is not interested in fighting anybody other than Pac. I would post here to admit mistake if JMM's next fight is against either Juan Diaz, Valero or Guzman.

Pac is his shortcut to fame.

Chances are, we will see him against another leftovers like Juarez, Fana, or a stiff from philippines.
