This was a greta fight to watch.
    Both guys landing bombs.

Lot of heart shopwn by Lamont to survive early on.

This fight makes me think he can outlast and then outbox Matthyse.

Gotta' love Peterson's heart. One of the reasons why I was a fan of his at one point. Ortiz is a beast on his day, and you can see it in Peterson's body language and facial expressions when he was throwing him around like a rag doll at the beginning. But credit it to him. He stuck around long enough to adjust and put some heat back on Ortiz.

There is one main thing Ortiz lacks that Matthysse doesent and thats mental strength.

He seemed to show plenty of it here and against Berto didnt he?

Lamont was teeing off on him at times in this fight.
Berto landed some shots that darn near decapitated him and he got up and fought on.

Ortiz is an exciting fighter but hes nothing but punching power and thats it . Sadly that will always be his downfall whenever he steps in the ring with someone Elite . Unless that opponent has a glass jaw.... Thats his only chance .

Decent scrap far from a great one, Ortiz once again shows his mental midget side, he had the fight in his pocket dropping Lamont twice and hurting Lamont with almost every punch he landed early on then all of a sudden he decides to take the foot of the pedal and starts going backwards allowing Petterson to come back to the fight to the point where Ortiz can consider himself lucky to earn a draw.

Wow, I forgot how Peterson looked like a ****ing midget compared to the ****ing huge Ortiz. I don't know how Ortiz ever made 140; the guy looks like a ****ing monsters. Regardless, I've never been worried about Peterson getting knocked out. Ortiz couldn't do it, Matthysse won't do it. Peterson will go through an easy decision.

Thought Ortiz won it, but wasn't broken up at all by the decision

I felt Ortiz won that fight quite comfortably.

If Ortiz could hurt him, Lucas can very well do the same and unlike Ortreez, Lucas CAN finish him off.
