Valuev has 100lbs over most top guys he faces and cant knock them out, he is a terrible example.
His title was taken by a man that used to fight 190lbs !!

Holyfield can probably beat Lennox and the Klits on his best day also. He is a great great champion like the Rock.

golota and Grant have been beaten by more than one former cruisers and they never won even a belt- in a a day of many belts.

Marciano is unproven, beat guys way past their primes. And Lastarza beat him. :deal

You haven't told me who Marciano beat to justify that he would be dominant in this era.

The Klits would completely destroy him.

If you think Marciano would beat Valuev, ydksab.

Valuev would completely and utterly destroy him.

I never said he would be dominant in this era. I think Holyfield for example beats him most likley.

He would however be a HW champ !

    PS:

Valuev never utterley destroyed anybody worth mentioning, IMO Ruiz beat him

How exactly would he be HW champ if he can't beat the KLITS.

He'd probably struggle with guys like Adamek/Tyson Fury/Haye.

Haye would probably be way too much for him LOL.

Rocky wouldn't be a Heavyweight. And yes, he'd be a champion. Easily.

Rocky would run **** at cruiser weight, but he'd get hurt by Wlad or Vitali.

Byrd was not a natural Heavy, spent most of his HW fights in defensive mode and didn't have the power to break surface water....Marciano and ATG power and skills and would of flattened Byrd.

If career cruiserweight Marco Huck had a case for beating Povetkin, why wouldn't Rocky just do a worse number on him?

The HW division has been garbage for the last 20 years. Lennox, Bowe, and the Klitschkos have been champions because of that.

Has there ever been an era before that in which a huge HW dominated? No. In fact, the HW division has always been dominated by relatively small fighters like Rocky Marciano.

    Jack Dempsey
    Gene Tunney
    Joe Louis
    Ezzard Charles
    Rocky Marciano
    Muhammad Ali

These guys were all small, around 200 pounds. Some of them would be Cruiserweights today.

Mike Tyson weighed about 215 but was outweighed by almost every man he ever fought.

Lennox, Bowe and the Klitschkos all ducked Tyson and dominated after his demise. Lennox Lewis wanted no part of prime Tyson, Holyfield, or even Tony Tucker. That's why he hid in England until Tyson was safely locked away in prison.

The rule is: the smaller the better. History doesn't lie.
