Ajose is the guy that gave Luscious Lucas Matthysse a tough fight and was hard nut to crack after Lucas threw all those bombs. Mercito Gesta is just not very good, he didn't throw much and at all in his first world title opportunity and if Luscious Lucas power shots couldn't put Ajose away that early, can Gesta with his lack of power and activity? Probably a bad ring return fight for Gesta after losing his last? Anyway my opinion is that Gesta is a useless turd, he shouldn't even get TV Dates anymore after that pathetic display on his world title shot.. At least Michael Farenas tried his best to win against Gamboa. What do you think guys? What about you Dhoby Zhee?
It might be a good fight, if Gesta works on his work-rate. It could be interesting, but this will definitely go to the score cards. I don't see either dude getting knocked out or knocking anyone out.
Unless Matthysse ruined him which he very well might have. Ajose no doubt about it. After that fight I rated his chin in the top 5 in the world. He took so many shots that would have put lesser fighters down if not out. Gesta was the Pinoys hope of being another Pac just like Bautista. I was never impressed by any of them. However, I think the pinoys have Farenas to look forward to. I was very impressed by him against Gamboa. First I saw of him but has potential to be a good title holder.
Ajose gonna spank that ass. I hope this fight does go through, this is the type of fight Ajose needs.
our future hopes are all in the lower weights - Saludar, Cuello, Melindo, Servina. Don't see much in Gesta.
I mean Gesta is **** as.. I mean Donaire, Viloria and Pac loss to the best and gave all they got. This fool fought a BUM like a disgrace. He should retire.
IF Ajose didn't get completely ruined by Luscious Lucas (which there is a very good chance he did), then he handles Mercita quite easily.
